The clasp and leather both seem to be very high quality, but the plastic ratchet portion broke in less than 2 months due to normal wear and tear. i wasn't pulling it too tight, but it just busted right out. $45 for a belt that only lasts 2 months is a bit steep.

I ordered the belt before they were available, but never received the belt, just surveys on my buying experience? Therefore, my rating is the lowest you can give. Would like the belt I ordered and maybe my rating can go up.

I've been a loyal customer for a long time. The design is great, but recently they have sold lower quality belts. The stitching was so bad for one of my belts, the belt literally split into two pieces. A second belt lasted less than two months. I've bought several belts over the years and the last two were a huge disappointment. I love their buckles, but now I'm looking for replacement belts.

Belts are great, but after I ordered online it took 3 months - nothing. I finally sent an email and got the order about 2-3 weeks after.
No reply email, no communication.
I'm pretty patient, but the follow up about any delay would have been nice.

I will be ordering another one soon.

I purchased a belt for work, one for dress, and a weird lavender one to strike fear into the heart of my golf opponent. Bought one gunmetal buckle and a nickel one came with the golf belt. I have held off reviewing the product until after a year of use, and I have to say they held up nicely. My dress belt buckle tends to fall off the leather if not in use, so I am going to nip 1/4" of the leather to establish new holes. Nice product that expands with my waist (since the reduction in size has yet to be realized). Buy in confidence.

I ordered this belt on a whim and I have to admit I am very pleased, only issues I have is I gained a little weight and if I push out my belly I can pop the buckle loose.

Love my belt and the ease that it gives me to take it off and on...highly recommend it.

My canvas slidebelt comes apart at the clamp that holds the cut end of the belt. It seems to bite down ok... but eventually releases the belt at random moments. Other than that, it's fine.

My husband loves the Slide Belt which can be adjusted when necessary (before and after eating:-).

I have NO interest in slide belts or any other belts for that matter. I don't know why I started receiving testimonials on these belts and I have Been trying to get removed for several weeks. Can anyone HELP ME GET OFF this list????? PLEASE HELP ME. Bill K

Good looking belt and doesn't get the distressed look like belts with the holes

The belt did not last one day! The belt buckle, itself, was absolute garbage!

I received my second SlideBelt for Christmas and I like it as much as the one I have on now. They adjust at a touch to match your comfort needs. Eat a little too much? Let it out a click or two. Need to have the pants very secure? Pull it in a click or two. I love the ability to adjust in small amounts. And the one that I wear every day is still working as well as the day I first put it on. They are very well made and sturdy. Now I have two, one casual, one classy leather. Thanks SlideBelts!

The first time I saw the ratcheting belt I was amazed. The logo from a far off land was very cool. I enjoyed my belt for almost a year. But out of nowhere , One day the lift arm on the release mechanism fell apart . So I was ultimately disappointed .

My husband has been wanting a leather belt that would fit better & last more than a year. He's also a fan of the way slide belts adjust . (Had one like it, made of some fabric material when he was a teen!)
Slide belts look, feel & perform excellently.
I got my husband another color for a gift since he liked the 1st one so much.
My only suggestion would be to encourage the creators to look into a "buckle" that is more light weight.

It always falls off and my husband has almost lost it a few times.
