Slideorfold Avis 72

Thank goodness we met slideorfold. After having several quotes from several potential suppliers we felt none of them were quite right. Each quote had compromises in them on specification somewhere because that's what the supplier could only supply. Slideorfold were very different. They gave us the vision of what we could have and it exceeded what our original requirements were. We now have four absolutely incredible triple glazed bifold doors. The difference they have made to our home is remarkable. We can only thank the whole team for the valuable advice and hard work.

Would give 0 starts if possible…

Purchased 2 sets of bi fold doors (5 doors in each set) totalling over £13k and from the very first time we’ve had issues where one of the service doors would drop slightly causing the door not to lock properly.
Alan who ran it before has been great and not once charged us for having to come out to repair it (takes a matter of 5-10mins)
Now this new guy Stephen has took over and the same issue has happened again he’s come with a quote of £300 for someone to come out and sort the same problem which will take less than 10mins to fix.
Choose wisely & carefully if you go with them but the after sales now is disgusting

Yes I can confirm they were installed in 2016 by your company and it’s supposed to have a 10yr guarantee. But as mentioned before this is issue has happened at least three times before…weren’t charged for any fallout when Allan was in charge and now the new manager wants to charge for their own incompetence. Not impressed
Nobody was asking for anything for free and charging £300 for a 10minute job is daylight robbery no matter how you want to dress it up. The ongoing adjustments were caused by it not being fitted correctly in the first place as I’ve had another company come out and I’ll just say he mentioned about having to tidy up some other work your company has done. It’s too late as you were only interested in ripping me off when I called for your help before and it’s only due to my feedback on here which has prompted you try and justify.

Great pre sales advice, made several recommendations which made a big difference to the eventual doors and their sightlines. Their pricing was very fair and reasonable compared to several other suppliers we considered. Installation was problem free, and the fitters were superb. Our bifold-doors have certainly given our house renovation the wow factor. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

I had a very good experience with Slideorfold. The staff were all friendly and helpful from start to finish. The delivery was quick, especially as the christmas period was between order and fitting. We love our new doors

Great company to deal with, easy communications, products were great and cheaper than our local accredited supplier. They held onto our order for a time until we were ready for installation. Installation was also great.

I had a very positive experience from start to finish, Natasha and Alun were very happy to help, they adjusted quotes, communicated directly with our builder and were always available to talk through on the phone.

The product itself is of great quality.

schuco sliding door, fitted few years ago in 2019 but forgot to review until now as looking for windows and doors again on new project, great door very good quality, still runs as smooth and easy as when it was fitted 3 plus years of usage daily. Natasha and Alan were very pleasant to deal with, price was reasonable compared with other similar sliding doors at the time.

This is a jpvfx 5-star review. The aftersales help from Slideorfold is exemplary. Even when helping with correcting "others" poor installations.

I purchased an opening aluminium window from Slide and Fold for a DIY project in my home. When I visited the showroom I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of windows on display. Better still, the sales person I spoke with was able to answer any queries I had and advise me on the type of window and glass to best meet my needs.
I had never fitted a window before and anticipated difficulties, however the job went according to plan. I did however have to contact the company's technical department for advice on fitting the glass and the rubber seals. Adam explained how best to complete the work and even called me back to see how the job had progressed.
The window looks very good! Unlike most conventional windows this one fits between a front bedroom and a bathroom, which previously had no external natural light and limited ventilation, relying on an electric extractor fan to vent the steam after a shower.
This idea may seem a little unusual, but living in an old mews property this adaptation has made a very significant aesthetic and practical difference.

I contacted these guys years after I purchased a set of bi-fold doors to ask if they could help me replace a part that had broken (no fault of theirs). They sent out a replacement free of charge within 24 hrs. Really solid company who aren't going anywhere. I will continue to do business with them.

Great interaction prior to purchasing the doors, and upon visiting the office, my wife was given a demonstration of how the doors operate.
Schuco bi-folds are by far one of the best on the market and we certainly weren't disappointed when we had them delivered.

We purchased two bifold doors and both are lovely.
One fitted a few years ago and the second fitted in April 2022.
There were a few minor issues but resolved promptly by Alun.
Natasha was always helpful and replied to my emails very quickly.

Over the years we have had numerous items supplied and fitted from Slide or Fold and the service and installation has always been first class.
Nothing is to much trouble and all at very reasonable prices.

We purchased a 2.7m wide Schuco bifold door, shaped glazed gable frame, and a fixed window from SildeorFold on a supply-only basis for our extension project and can highly recommend them.

Natasha was great to deal with during the sales and quotation process, and was happy to respond to queries and changes. There were a couple of technical details that I needed to be sure of and the team were happy to provide additional drawings to assist.

Alun kept us updated during fabrication and went out of his was to meet our build timeline despite a small supply issue with one component from Schuco. Aftersales support was particularly good and the team were happy to resolve a couple of minor issues with the glazing panels (despite being supply-only, their fitters attended site twice to swap items).

Overall, we're very pleased with the product, service and communication, and even more so given the competitive pricing offered.

Came to review the door when we thought we had a leak the following day (leak not related to door) but reassuring the good aftercare service after spending thousands.

From start to finish the whole process was easy and seamless.
Natasha & Alun took care of the whole process and supplied us with a quality Bi Fold door for our outside kitchen project.
The door was designed to our specific needs, built and delivered on time as promised, even though we were in the midst of a national pandemic. The delivery driver was very pleasant and also helped with the unloading. Even though I had supply only with my own builders fitting the doors, they said they have fitted loads of doors in the past and commented on their quality and ease of fitting.
Unfortunately one of the seals sustained some damage when closing the door for the first time but following a quick message to Alun a replacement seal was sent out in the post that evening.
Once again I cant thank them enough for their help and advice.
I am now in the process of pursuing a quote for a large window from them for my extension.

Lovely people to deal with and they make you feel special, top quality products and very keen prices. I purchased two sets of Bi-Folding doors and which were supplied and fitted ahead the the estimated time. I must say I am very pleased with the service I have received.
