We have 6 locations across Brighton and Hove where customers come to chill out with friends, pets or their laptops to enjoy their local speciality coffee roaster and a bite to eat. You can buy our beans online or in our stores, and we also have a coffee club that introduces you to a new roast every single month.

Small Batch Goldstone Coffee Pods
When I worked in Brighton, Small Batch was my favourite coffee shop. I was excited to try the Small Batch coffee pods for my Nespresso machine. Ordering was easy. Royal Mail delivery was awful. I eventually found the parcel soaking wet in my garden. Royal Mail didn’t ring the doorbell or leave a note through the letter box to say they’d been delivered and the tracking number didn’t work properly in their app.
First cup of coffee was nice but it did need two pods for a flat white. Second cup was watery. Third cup had coffee grounds in it and one of the capsules didn’t work properly and got stuck in my machine. Fourth cup was nice. If I buy again I think I’ll need to adjust some settings as the coffee isn’t that strong when compared to my favourite Nespresso pods.
In summary the coffee is nice with a light even crema. The pods aren’t consistent and don’t always work, so it works out quite expensive.
