I had a terrible experience with 18montrose and will never shop here again. I tried to return a pair of shoes, but they refused to accept them, even though they were unworn and in the original packaging. Their return policy is extremely rigid and unfair. On top of that, their customer service is awful—completely unhelpful and nearly impossible to reach. I sent multiple emails and tried calling, but getting a response was like pulling teeth. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

Received a counterfeit with an attitude to get a refund.

After purchasing a rick owens island dunk and finally receiving them after 3 weeks. I realised that they were fake, cause the paint or whatever it was, came off from the mid sole. I tried to get a refund, but they said they would inspect the sneaker to ensure it was fake. However, they didn't make any updates, so I had to ask them every now and then for almost three months. Until, they finally responded with "what do you want then? we can only give you a credit refund". After that i did receive a authentic pair, but this is ridiculous.

Gotta write a first review in my whole life

SneakerBoy got me to write a first review in my whole life about how unethical they are. Normally, if I don't like a business, I just simply walk away with no complains but this time they really pissed me off.
It is alright if you are struggling, but please at least respect your customers. I've been a fan of SneakerBoy for years now. My last online purchase was in 2018 and I returned this year to orders a couple of Essential items. Guess what!? It have never arrived, NO EMAIL, NO REFUND. Idk when will they take action on this while they still leave their website open and selling items they might not have.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Coming on here to recommend anyone with pending orders who paid using PayPal- raise a dispute, screen your emails from Hamilton murphy and request PayPal refund. Worked for me.

No delivery No refund.

Scam! Disgusting! No delivery No refund. Still trading and accepting orders even if they are now in Administration.

When I purchase the shoe, they asked me to create a account, and they will send me the invoice and tracking no, but the fact is, my account never be set up but I still successfully paid. And they were saying that is a system problem and asked me to wait, I never get my invoice and tracking number. Too much lies!

Scam! Fraudulent company

Scam! Do not buy from them. They didn’t send my order bought in May. Even the order of husband, they didn’t send it. They created a fake tracking number and the item was never sent. They don’t have stocks but still advertising and accepting orders. Still trading even if they are now in Administration. Sent an email to get a refund, got an automated generic response. My husband was told to pick up in store, went there the next day and they are closed!

Update from liquidators

Hi everyone see the below from the administrators on orders:
All orders from July 2, 2022 will be fulfilled by the Administrators moving forward. All orders pre-dating July 2, 2022 please contact Hamilton Murphy on (03) 8866 7600.
I got burnt in lockdown by SB with Jordan realeases. 6 weeks for orders to ship. I realised then they were taking our money then paying nike before Nike would give them the stock.

cancelling delivery and expecting customers to go and pick up orders

Why does this company think it’s okay to cancel my delivery and move it to a store and tell me to go pick it up.
They have ignored my emails and request.
I will not be collecting the item as I do not have the time, hence why I paid for delivery in the first place.
This company is a joke

Would like my order cancelled and refunded.
Have opened a dispute with afterpay on this and I’m currently waiting to hear back from consumer affairs and the Victorian Ombudsman

Do not order anything online from Sneaker boy they DO NOT HAVE ANY STOCK!!! They lie to their customers, take your money and claim that they have a backlog of orders which is why there is a “delay” with dispatch. This is an absolute lie. I have spoken with a Golden Goose representative who has confirmed they have not been supplying Sneakerboy with stock for months. Anything you order from their website doesn’t actually exist in their warehouse, yet they continue to take orders and never respond to your emails. I had to go into their store and demand a refund. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BRAND they are completely unethical and lie to their customers

Im in a similar boat to a lot of other customers. I thought it would be nice to get an essentials tee before my holiday. Keep in mind i ordered it 3 weeks before I was meant to leave. I still haven't received any shipping code, I have emailed them several times over weeks ago and never got a response. so i decieded to email again and never got a response. I then Dm their instagram to not get a response either. Company is terrible and no one should shop from them or give them money. terrible customer service.

Warning! Avoid this retailer if you can!

Buyer beware! I have to agree with all the negative reviews here. Really horrible customer service from this retailer, aside from not sending my item. On 22nd June I have emailed their email support address (help @ sneakerboy.com as they keep on replying here) already asking why my order was stuck in “shipment has been created” since June 8 but never received any reply!
They seem to be just ignoring customer requests for support. Makes you wonder if they really intend to send the purchases made by the customers.
They also disabled their comment section on IG and they do not provide a phone number to call. Please respond to your emails Sneakerboy please. If you are unble to send the item kindly refund me please! So frustrating!

DISGUSTING!!!!!!! I ordered my items on the 18th of may! I’ve been told stock is in warehouse and will be sent out as a “priority”
Atleast have the decency to reply your customers more then once and not just take our money! I will be taking this further and putting a formal complaint taking legal action for not stating items are “back order” false advertisement.

You’ve gotta laugh at this point!

Okay so clearly sneakerboy just don’t have the stock on hand for the essentials range they sold us all. They’ve applied shipping tracking codes with Toll, however I’ve contacted Toll and they said no packages have been requested to be picked up so that’s why everyone got a tracking code that literally means nothing as it’s not moving down the chain of deliveries.

I guess what’s most disgusting sneakerboy is your lack of honesty and communication with your customers (including me). Several emails with absolutely no response or acknowledgment whatsoever. Turning off your Instagram comments (to stop a battering of negative comments warning others to avoid ever purchasing from you) and ignoring your paying customers email requests searching for an explanation is appalling and I’m surprised that this has happened in Australia. For anyone else wondering… I have purchased essentials item from the USA and the retail price plus shipping to Aus works out to be cheaper than sneakerboy anyway. My parcel arrived in 8 days too!

Shame on you sneakerboy… you guys won’t be getting any of my business ever again and it looks like I’m not the only one.
