Socom Tactical Avis 

Great experience with Socom Tactical, Ordered BB's Wednesday and arrived Thursday morning, no hassle, no problems, kept up to date with emails and texts on dispatch and tracking. Will use again for airsoft items. Thank you.

I've sent two emails to socom regarding my order for the body armour vent retrofit kit (what they've sent me is - given that, as it turns out, manufacturing of this Gen 1 product was stopped 5+ years ago - a multiple-years-old, open box item clearly pulled out of a spares bin or is a previously returned item), the fact that it's missing critical components, doesn't have ANY original manufacturer packaging or branded parts whatsoever, and was sent as two loose panels in a cheap padded A4 paper envelope even though (assuming the rest of the issues weren't present which make it an instant return and full refund necessity anyway) it's a fragile inflatable item that would be rendered completely unusable by anything sharp coming into contact with it.

Their own policy states that for refunds, I should be filling out their enclosed returns form of some kind, which of course was not with the delivery. No paperwork of any kind arrived with it. They also highlight their likely 15% restocking fee, which of course wouldn't be applicable for an order like this where they've clearly chanced their luck in getting rid of some old (should be) unsaleable inventory before changing the product page to 'out of stock' as soon as I purchased what must have been this last random bit of old, loose, incomplete and unacceptable stock.

It also states to contact them prior to attempting a return anyway, which I've done 5 days ago, and the only response received was eventually an automated 'review this product' email where I left a review, almost identical to this, that's not been published. I sent a follow up email too, and had no intention of leaving a negative review had they been reasonable in responding and organising the return. However, I've heard nothing else at all in response and find it not only disappointing, but concerning, because its looking increasingly like I'll need to issue a formal chargeback request on my credit card used to make the purchase since they're just ignoring me on their only contact email address.

Absolutely would not recommend Socom Tactical or their products and will never be using them again.

Socom are my go-to for pyro and BB's.
This time I needed a couple buckings, but £6.99 postage for two little pieces of rubber seems a bit much, especially when I can order a kilo of bb's and a handful of pyro's for less postage! (unless they've recently raised their postal charge)
Yeah so normally 100% happy, but this instance left me a bit miffed.
Won't stop buying from them though, they're great when considering the larger picture.

Wow! These guys don’t mess about! I ordered zci steel hi capa grip and thumb safety and they rang me to let me know they didn’t have the thumb safety so i changed that for a steel hammer and got them the next day plus they refunded the £5 as the hammer was £5 less than the thumb safety! Terrible service, delivery company used APC over night took 5 days! loads of excuses why it has not arrived, when it did they delivered to wrong street. When contacting socom they said if not delivered they will need to wait for the item to arrive back to them before any refund could be talked about. Not the service I was expecting. will make me think twice before I use them again
