It has now been a year since Scott and his team have completed our solar+battery+charger installation and I am happy to leave a solid 5 star review. Everything has worked as expected, savings are on track and whenever I had a question, Scott was at hand with advice straight away. We had a particularly challenging install with a nearly flat roof on a second floor loft conversion that most installers I contacted would not touch with a barge pole. He did a thorough pre- quote survey, explaining all costs and options, and ended up predicting the peak summer output to within 2 Kw. The wiring in the house was a mix of late 80s original fuses and several conversions/extensions executed to varying standards and Scott and the team started with an in-depth testing, upgrade and partial rewiring to electric safety certificate standard. The system itself was 10x Jingko 440 panels on a special railing system with bird protection, Tesla PW3 and Ohme home pro charger. Scott was up to date with all Octopus tariffs, correctly advised on the charger bypass and talked me through other (cheaper) options. Solarus trains apprentices and they were all pleasant to have around during installation, extremely neat in their work with no corners cut. I can’t comment on price competitiveness as no one else was offering to meet our special requirements from half a dozen quotes requested. If you get several ‘can’t be done’ when looking at solar or battery, check with them.

Provided and installed EV charger. Excellent and professional job. Arrived on time. Minimal time without power. Made sure that the setup was working on car and app before leaving. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Scott for his professionalism and customer service. Of all the solar companies I spoke with he was the most helpful and knowledgeable. Due to our roof configuration with velux sun tunnels he came up with the most innovative solution and best use of space from our roof. Panels are now in place along with battery and inverter and delivering big savings on our energy bills

Can’t recommend Scott highly enough. He had a very tight space to work in (recess behind a media wall) but managed to rearrange the existing consumer board set up to accommodate the wiring and then neatly routed outside. Great communication and explanation plus he even fixed an unrelated dodgy connection! Very tidy too, no mess at all.

Scott is absolutely top draw. Couldn't be any more accommodating and takes a lot of pride in his work. Couldn't recommend enough!

Great communication, no delays with the installation (despite horrendous rain storms) and cleaned up all the debris. Scott and his team are hard working and professional. Would recommend Solarus.

Nathan is the most thoughtful, polite, professional electrician you could meet. He has worked on three of our properties in the last year, the most recent was a complete rewire of a house we refurbished. He is an excellent communicator, always let us know when he would attend and never failed to turn up when he said he would. Quality of the work was superb. I would recommend him without reserve.

Couldn’t recommend more highly. Knowledgeable friendly and very professional. Solar, battery storage, and Ev charger installed. EV charger was installed when other said it couldn’t be done and has worked perfectly for last 10 months. Scott and Nathan came back last week to install data cabling to to our annexe and installed new electrics to our pool light. Very competitive. Faultless.

Nathan and Scott installed our EV charger and although the position was quite tricky, they did an outstanding job. Professional, knowledgeable but also genuinely nice people.

Cannot recommend the team highly enough. Found 6 seemingly decent suppliers on the MCS, but Solarus got our business because their customer service was spot on - they listened to what we were looking to what we wanted and they designed the system based on current and future usage. Knowledgeable, professional and approachable throughout the whole process. The install of our solar PV and battery couldn’t have been better. Already recommending them to friends, family and colleagues.
