My med and headboard was delivered on time and with very friendly helpful delivery men, 2 men came and positioned the bed in me upstairs bedroom after removing their shoes without being asked, a very good system was in place of informing me of a time slot too. Great service

Avoid still no refund after 1 week
This was a hard one to review until they said they would take a week to refund. I cannot recommend and would suggest avoid this company.
Order on 8/2/23 - 1500 wood flooring
Phoned next morning to confirm they received. Sharon was great and helped organise quick delivery. She even substituted the original order with bigger size to get it quickly.

Delivery day. Receive phone call and email that delivery truck broken down. Rescheduled for a couple of days later.

Second delivery day
No arrival by 4pm. Phone Sharon who gets on the case and get phone call from transport company. They cancelled the delivery at 1pm and even he doesn’t know why. I suspect because it is fri afternoon! Rescheduled for mon.
Mon 20/2
Delivery does not arrive by 12. Phone calls and it is definitely scheduled for 2-4pm. It finally arrives near 5pm. It is kerbside delivery with a large pallet with the flooring wrapped up. Not sure if they are in boxes or free. Before unloading I take photos and it is not the same colour as ordered. Paperwork does not say anything about the order just my name spelled incorrectly. I refuse order and send the photo to the company. Sharon agrees that it is the wrong colour.
Then I get an email stating that it was the right colour but the flooring was put upside down and that’s why I could not see it!! How can I check if it’s upside down with no contents info?
I asked for refund 3 times and finally after raising an issue through PayPal they agreed.

Still no refund and no flooring. I cannot order more as I need the refund to order it.
PS I have now found new flooring at a much better price but still no refund.
Now been told will take 7 days to get refund. Unacceptable. I have reduced down to 1 star. I was giving them benefit of doubt previously.

Hi Perbinder,
First of all, I’d like to apologise again for the absolute nightmare you had with the delivery of your flooring. These were third party couriers and whilst I chased them and kept you updated every step of the way they still let us down. I would like to thank you for being so patient and understanding at the time.
When your delivery finally arrived late on Monday you called me straight away to say it was the incorrect floor, I asked you to email me a picture so I could check the floor and take this up with the manufacturers. Once I had the picture, I could see straight away it was the underside of the board and in fact was the correct flooring. I tried calling you several times so you could check the flooring whilst the driver was on site but you were unavailable, I then sent you an email to explain, hoping the driver had not already left. The boards in the boxes are not all packed finish side up and have a foam protective layer between them to protect the finish so you may not have seen the board colour without taking the plank out of the box. As it is a bespoke floor, finished in this country and not factory mass produced, the boxes are not labelled. Once you refused the flooring, a refund request was raised however, as stated in our terms and conditions, until the flooring has been returned to the manufacturer the flooring legally still belongs to you. These are the same terms as with any retail sale.
I completely understand your situation and please rest assured, I am working on this and as soon as I have confirmation from the manufacturers your refund will be fully processed - Paypal have given us until the 12th March but this will all be completed early next week for you.
Customer service is incredibly important to us and we like to think we deal with any issues in a timely manner. I am so sorry you felt the need to leave us a 1* review, it is incredibly frustrating when we are let down by couriers but ultimately you purchased from us and we are responsible for your order.

Excellent customer service
Received excellent customer service from this company, ordered a sample of flooring which I received really quick and free! I only knew how to measure in ft so I emailed my measurements and they told me how much I needed and quoted me a price which was half the price of other websites for the same flooring, excellent delivery also. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I don't usually write reviews but I feel i really need to in this case to show my deep appreciation for the amazing customer service I have received from Source Wood Floors.
Sharon went out of her way to send me pictures of different types of wood as I was really pushed for time. She gave me a lot of advise and dedicated a lot of her time to make sure i would choose the right flooring and that I could get it in time for when I needed it.
Sharon knowledge, helpfulness and support made the whole process easy and stress free.
The quality of the wood I have received is so outstanding and it looks so good that even the carpenter who did the flooring was totally impressed and wants to buy the same for his own house!

Cannot fault Source Wood's customer service
Absolutely cannot fault Source Wood Floors themselves, incredibly competent and helpful, very quick with updates and always willing to help. The products that were delivered directly from them arrived exactly on time and as described, unfortunately due to our location in Scotland a 3rd party courier caused a few issues with delivery dates for other products, but Sarah, our contact from Source Wood, was incredibly helpful throughout and got it sorted quickly. We'd definitely buy from Source Wood again.
