I attended an appointment at the Mandurah Forum expecting to be seen by the optometrist who had previously examined my eyes; however, I was instead seen by another practitioner without any prior notification or explanation.

I was also concerned to observe that the equipment used during both the eye examination and the hearing test did not appear to have been sanitised before use, which raises important hygiene considerations.

In addition, the hearing test was conducted in a manner I found unprofessional, including the use of inappropriate language during the consultation.

Overall, this experience did not meet the standards I would expect. The selection of glasses also appeared unchanged since my previous visit. While I appreciate that staff may be doing their best, the overall impression was one of limited professionalism and a lack of attention to detail.

Based on this visit, I would be reluctant to recommend this practice.

Very helpful staff. The whole process of eye tests through to seeing the optometrist was thorough, seamless and straightforward. I have found Optometrist Adrienne Chan on this and many previous appointments to be very professional, attentive and compassionate towards patient's concerns. I have continually chosen Specsavers Top Ryde as my preferred eye care professionals since 2014.

Such lovely staff, very welcoming and accommodating. The people that work here genuinely care about your eye health.

They did the eye test very quickly with all the technology they have, no more spending half a hour looking at word charts 😳 the eye technology does everything for you 😉 & the glasses are ready 7 days later 😉
