My car happened to refuse to start as I stopped to show my passport after entering the ferryport. I felt so supported and helped, first 3 men who pushed the car back into engine to get onto the ferry... Voir plus

We understand that passengers come with luggage, so we won’t charge you any extra for yours. Car passengers can bring as much as they can fit into their vehicles. And foot passengers can bring as much as they can carry, so long as no single piece of luggage is over 23kg in weight. That makes packing a whole lot easier!

All aspects of recent visit to Northern Ireland went extremely well. Partially due to the excellent service provided by Stena line.
Not impressed with the lounge. Expensive to add to the trip and if you are not in first 8 people into the lounge, you won’t get a reclining seat.Same applies to the food, the initial offerings don’t get topped up so if you are slow to access the lounge, poor seats and poor food offerings. The food offered is pretty poor which leads to asking why would you pay the extra for a standard seat and very average food offerings. Doubt I’ll upgrade to the lounge in future bearing all of this in mind.
Rosalind in the lounge area made the trip wonderful, her interaction with all the passengers was warm ,genuine and hospitable. Thank you ❤️

Altogether a very enjoyable experience.
It was a first class experience travelling to and from Belfast. The pets lounge is comfortable and quiet.
Left Over half hour late and only problem it was very cold on board Lookong forward to big ship returning in May otherwise will have to use Irish ferries

This is about the Harwich to Hoek van Holland route.
Since the refurbishment of the ferries, the company has unfortunately made the experience poorer, so it no longer stands apart for other ferry companies, especially when it comes to vip tickets.
Breakfast is no longer included in the ticket, while the difference in price compared to standard and flexible tickets remain the same.
The breakfast experience has fewer choices and it resembles a production line with a one way route,
without the same buffet options as before (and now I have to pay for it, even on a vip ticket!)
The new vip lounge concept is now a very busy area with many waiters constantly asking if I want my glass filled or if they should get me the menu or .... ! Leave ne alone, I'm there to relax! I'm aware that this is an attempt to increase sales, but it makes my experienced worse! It was much more relaxed in the old smaller lounge! I realise that others have a different view, but this is how it impacts me. The result is, that I no longer buy vip tickets, but just standard flexible tickets, as the very small difference in flexibility is of no concern for me, but the decline in value of the vip ticket is. Also I no longer take breakfast on the ferry.

Booking was easy, information was clear, boarding was straightforward, cabin was clean and comfortable and most of all the staff were lovely- helpful informative
Smooth check in, spacious cabin, pleasant staff and crew. Extremely helpful man at service desk. Overall a good journey.
Regular traveler on the Harwich to Hoek van Holland - always an excellent service on both ships on the route as well as the ports on both ends of the route
No problems with getting on and off the ferry everything was like clockwork, staff are all very friendly and booking was easy
Our cabin was lovely had everything we needed as I was travelling with a small dog but it was so hot and no way of turning down the heat!!

Ben My Chree is not an acceptable substitute. It’s small, sways badly in even mild swell. Seats are very uncomfortable and there’s nowhere to lie down, as no cabins are available. Price was exorbitant too, and I’ve been travelling with Stena for a lot of years now. Flying will probably be my preferred option now, sadly. End of an era.

We drove 4h and got 1h before the ship is here and we were meant to set off 1h ago now we been sat for another hour like have some respect for others time really bad waiting time
