I have to admit. I bought some Black Bean Salsa and some Spicy Corn Relish to try out. I apologize for letting it set in my pantry for a little over a year. This stuff is delicious! The corn relish is pretty good, but the Black bean salsa was off the chain! Out of curiosity I mixed some with my homemade cowboy candy and it stepped the flavor up 10 notches!

I had received a double pack of the Waffle and Pancake Mix. We loved it it was wonderful but when I opened the next container - there were bug sthorughout. We threw it away immediately - We had checked the expiration date and it was Oct 23, 2025. The day that it was opened was November 117th, 2024. ( Still time for it to be usable.) I called SWK on the morning of the 18th. They stated that without the container showing the expiration date that they could not replace because they would need to investigate. This is the first issue i have hand with stonewall kitchen over the years and truthfully never had any compaints, I found their products to be fresh and very tasty. I have ordered several packages for family and friends for holidays, anniversaries and birthdays. Never hand an issue. Everyone loved their gifts and also became frequent buyers of the products. I am so disappointed in the customer service - I will no longer be using their products and will let my other family and friends know of this issue. I will not any longer be ordering from Stonewall Kitchen.

BEWARE OF EXPIRATION DATES! I placed a large order of butters and jams for holiday gifts, I received them on September 5th. As I opened them on October 31st I noticed the expiration dates, nine of the items had expiration dates between November 11 and December 3. When I called Stonewall Kitchen's customer service, the gal told me I had 30 days to open and check the expiration dates and she would not allow me to return the items. I will not be ordering directly from the Stonewall Kitchen again as I cannot check the expiration date prior to purchase nor trust that the product will be fresh. So Disappointing!

I ordered seedless raspberry jam. It looks like jelly and tastes like sugar (its primary ingredient). Ii won’t order again.

I usually love Stonewall Kitchens and "had" been a good customer, however, in my last order 3 items in a box set arrived with a 2 month expiry date. It is just my husband and I and there is no way we can finish all 3 products by then, They were BBQ Sauce, Garlic Aioli and Onion Jam. They flat out refused to give me a refund and said 2 months was sufficient. Never order again from them! They do not stand behind their products!

In my last order for apple sauce prior to January, 2024 I had experienced a falloff in quality. The apple sauce had become very soupy to the point I was looking for alternatives. During January, I was notified of a voluntary recall on this apple sauce. I provided documentation for my purchase and on January 31, I was promised a refund. After not receiving this refund and a number of interactions and promised payment timelines, today (April 17) I was promised the refund would be mailed on April 18. We'll see. Refund arrived on April 24, nearly 3 months after it had been promised. But it did arrive.

Mold within two weeks in the refrigerator. Purchase from Costco.

Placed an order 4 days ago, and received no notification that item has shipped. Called customer service and was literally yelled at by the rep that their policy is that it takes 7- 10 “business days” to get an item to the customer. This info was nowhere on my order confirmation, and I was simply asking where my order was. Shipping for major companies is now generally 7 days/week, and this order, placed on 10/15, for which I’m paying shipping, may not reach me - in New England, till 10/27. And I literally had a customer service rep raise his voice to a crescendo that I should’ve read the shipping policy and calculated the dates. Hope this was a recorded line so managers can listen to the call. My final order from this company, which WAS a great local business until it was bought out.

The worst customer service. Their website malfunctions, when you hit purchase you don't always get a screen indicating the purchase was successful. They short pack your order, tell you they will give you a credit and you get no email showing receipt of credit. When calling they tell you to look at your credit card statement. Really? How bad does this get????

They bought Vermont coffee company and will no longer even consider taking in the bag tags that I have collected for 4 years. I had no idea that Vermont coffee was bought and had no idea that Stonewall corporate needs so much short term money that they lose customers over it. I'm not supporting Stonewall Kitchen ever.

I saw a great sale of my favorite jam and ordered 8 jars. It did say in small print that the reduced price could be a discontinued product or shorter shelf life. Imagine my surprise when I received my jam and it expires in less than 30 days. Now I expected a shorter shelf life, but seriously, not even a month? When I reached out to them they pretty much said too bad. I didn't expect a full refund, although that would have been good customer service, I did however expect some sort of a discount coupon for next time. Lesson learned, lots of great products elsewhere. Stonewall has lost my business. Seven jars of jam in the garbage.

I recently purchased a bottle of syrup and a jar of jelly. They arrived separately. The jelly was fine. The jar was sealed and it was protected by bubble wrap.
The syrup, however, was not sealed, it was leaking, and the cap did not fit tightly. My complaint is not about the packing. Things happen. My complaint is about Stonewall Kitchens apparent refusal to address this issue, in spite of numerous attempts to communicate with this company. When I called, the automated voice asked me to leave a message and my call would be returned within 24 hours. That did not happen. It’s been almost a week and I have made several attempts to get this issue resolved. All I wanted was a new bottle of syrup.
My recommendation is to not order products from this company because if a problem occurs, you will not hear from Stonewall Kitchen. I guess I’m just eating (figuratively) my ten bucks.

Working there is a nightmare. And coming from behind the scenes I try multiple products. Some are good but they have changed so many ingredients as of late to cheaper options... also we have allowed rust to run through many of the jam products. Had charcoal run in the sauce products. Maybe not too terrible to run through but still gross to think about considering we are all about "Quality". If you ever considered working for the company at all. don't.. There's a chance you'll just get fired right away, you'll stay here for years with no raise and even if you did get one you get .50 cents.. HR is non-confidential and LOVE your drama! Management does not communicate nor give care for their employees. We had an employee literally pass away and they only treated it as another day. Put out an ad on indeed the same day... I'm sure this is something that happens too with most companies, but this company claims to be "a family" and is locally owned.. yet they sold out to Mass cooperations 3 times and have gone on a spree buying off other companies to earn more but really are desperate since our overpriced products aren't selling... Hence why I said you probably would get fired right away! There are different departments ofcourse but all are terrible options expect for maybe the office jobs but that's only open to people they deem fit themselves... aka Friends, family and people they like or know only. ONLY. Randoms are pushed towards the store setting, production or stocking. Please do try the products if you dare, some are decent, few are good and most taste like feet or vomit or have terrible textures and smells. Also they're wayyyy overpriced and will only continue to up prices because other companies are "competing"... last I checked Welch's is not that expensive and have easy accessible bottles and jars. But the choice is yours. Come to Maine and indulge in the "quality" or save your tastebuds the trouble.

They bought Vermont Coffee and eliminated the frequent buyer bonus. Their website charges more for the coffee than my BigY store. If they delete the organic and renewable energy factors, I will stop buying the coffee. Curse you corporate america.

I purchased a large quantity of Stonewall Kitchen's single-serve pancake mixes for a virtual work event; we mailed them to recipients to cook at home at their own leisure, and I was very impressed. Stonewall's shipping was fast and everything arrived neatly packed and undamaged- we got rave reviews from the event attendees too!

December 2019 I purchased a set of 3 salsa to try.
I was very excited to try something from this company since the packaging was so nice and you received three different flavors in the box ( which was not inexpensive I might add).
So during 2020 I started to try each jar one by one (and just opened my last one recently), and boy am I glad that I did not give this as a gift to someone because every single jar was completely inedible.
All the flavors even the ones that had sweet flavors such as mango and or corn we're so sour you could not eat this at all, not only did it overpower the food but it literally made your tongue numb from the over-saturation of the vinegar / acidic additives.
I will never buy anything from this company again, not only because I was super disappointed with the horrible flavors and quality but also because my effort to reach out to customer service on this website what's completely ignored.
It's very sad when companies disregard/ignore their customers and this is why I'm here writing a review because companies who have a business dealing with people....who survive off to customers purchasing their food items should not ignore concerns or suggestion from unhappy customers in general.
Even though the packaging and the jars look so nice unopened, the product inside was complete sour garbage, I am so happy that I did not gift this to someone because it would be embarrassing but I am very upset that I wasted my hard earned money on something I have to throw out completely uneaten. - UPDATE : Reached out to the company and they made it right, great customer care which is refreshing although they did say they didn't get my first email. They also addressed the situation and said they would work on correcting it.
