I got a car from Stratstone. After purchasing found it hadn’t got some of the features I believed it had. This was mainly due to QR codes being used in an internet black spot so relying on asking the sales representative.
Then highlighted an issue with the car where they inspected it and said was ok. But later the issue got worse so took it back and they confirmed the car was faulty after checking properly. Under warranty they agreed to replace the faulty parts. 2 month later after buying the car I’m waiting still and my request for an update via email was ignored. On top of this I was asked to give a review for a free water bottle gift. I gave the review but received no gift. I can’t say I’m very impressed.

RAISED A COMPLAINT TO THE EMAIL PROVIDED VIA TRUSTPILOT REPLY, THE BRANCH, THE MANAGER AND STILL NO RESPONSE!!!
On 24th February I paid a £200 deposit to reserve a BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe and had organised collection of the vehicle including travel from Glasgow. The staff, especially Jack, and the manager, Jamie, constantly lied and delayed collection, firstly claiming the car was in the workshop for paintwork then after a week of chasing advised the car had an engine issue and was being sent back. They constantly provided misleading updates and consistently blatantly lied. My emails and phone calls were regularly ignored and promised callbacks were not actioned, and I still haven’t received my deposit back.
Stratstone BMW Leeds have confirmed the car was collected on 28th February and sold to another customer, directly contradicting everything the Chesterfield team told me. On 2nd March manager Jamie assured me the car was in his car park and being sent back due to the engine fault - one of many lies told by BMW Chesterfield.
The communication was dishonest, unprofessional, and caused significant inconvenience. I was explicitly told that my deposit guaranteed no other customer could buy or test drive the car, which clearly did not happen

We traveled over an hour to buy a BMW 2i8 that we had come across online. It was definitely worth the trip! Kadie was a brilliant salesperson and made sure we were well looked after during our whole time there.
Before we arrived, I was contacted daily to be reassured and well guided throughout the whole process of purchasing the car.
I cannot thank the team enough for making us feel so welcome and selling us an excellent car for a brilliant price. We definitely know where we will be coming for our next car.

I am sorry to say this, but my experience with Statstone Chesterfield has been deeply disappointing and far below any reasonable standard I would expect when purchasing a vehicle.
While the sales team initially appeared highly professional and attentive, this level of service ended the moment the payment was completed. Since then, the aftersales support has been practically non-existent.
I was sold a vehicle that was not roadworthy, which already raised serious concerns about the dealership’s quality control and commitment to customer safety. After leaving the car with them for two weeks, I expected the issues to be resolved properly. Instead, the vehicle was returned to me with poor-quality paintwork and with additional faults, including a disconnected door handle and wing mirror camera which I pointed out before. These are issues that should never occur after a supposedly completed repair.
The only person who made any genuine effort to support me throughout this situation was Rachel Dagnal, whose professionalism stands in stark contrast to the rest of my experience with the dealership.

Having recently had cause to use the Stratstone BMW approved Bodyshop at Eastside Road, Chesterfield, I have to say that the service shown to me by the Bodyshop Manager Ian Burgess and his team was faultless from beginning to end, professionalism with a capital P.
I can’t recommend this Bodyshop highly enough.

Avoid this place at all costs. I made the mistake of placing a deposit over the phone (something I would strongly advise against). After travelling three hours to view the vehicle, I was shocked to find it in a filthy condition with visible damage all around. After discussions with management and the sales executive, they agreed to cover the cost of the damage, so I reluctantly proceeded with the purchase.
However, on my journey home I discovered that the centre console buttons were not functioning. The following morning I obtained a quote, only to be told that the repair was not worth attempting, as liquid had entered the electrics, causing the buttons to seize and key safety functions to fail. I recorded evidence of this and sent it directly to the branch.
I have since requested a full refund, but they are making the process unnecessarily difficult. Unfortunately, I now have no choice but to take legal action against these cowboys through the courts.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Jack Ezard. Cannot thank Jack enough for the care and attention that he showed throughout the whole process. Communication was excellent and all my questions were answered without a problem. Couldn’t recommend Jack enough to anyone looking to purchase a car!

Called in at the dealership to see about buying a new car and ended up buying a brand new 2 series we had Joe barber helping us and I just wanted to say he never changes always the same very polite and professional and easy to approach I found the whole experience very positive and never to much trouble if needing anything and find this dealership spot on I just hope Joe will be still there in the near future thank you once again chesterfield

Amie was very helpful and professional throughout my dealings with this dealership.

Excellent service at stratstone bodyshop. Removed front bumper, repaierd and painted after a minor scrape. Came back better than new. Ian and team did a great job. Will be trusting them with minor repairs on my classic bmw

Booked a service well in advanced online and opted to have a courtesy car. Appointment accepted and no contact until I turn up on the day to be told they do not do courtesy cars.
A days plans because of the “premium” service offered by this dealership

Well im am truly disgusted n let down. By such a big dealership. My advice is go and buy ure new or used car from a proper dealer. I brought a new car from here n paid cash. My car had been in workshop 13 times with several problems. Let alone how many times ive called brakedown. This time broke down in paighton on a family trip to celebrate my dads passing. New gear box needed. Now 3 weeks later its on a truck bk to me. N bmw uk customer service wasn't interested n as a good will gesture offered £200. What a joke.
