Suntrek Solar Avis 

The support has been great. We’ve had a couple of unforeseen issues with our system pertaining to the higher than typical winds in our area. The sun trek crew came out numerous times to troubleshoot the issue and all is well.

I have never been more dissatisfied with a company than I was with Suntrek Solar. I met with the son of the owner and signed an agreement for them to install pool solar and solar panels for my electrical. The pool solar was done first, and it was a fiasco. Very unprofessional behavior, they decided to change the agreed upon plan without my permission, quality of the work was poor, and it took a long time to get the job done. I was so dissatisfied with this company I decided I didn't want them to do the solar for electric. The agreement required a $1,000 deposit, and even though I paid more than that for the pool solar, they still charged me the full $1,000. They sent me to collections and during my phone conversation with the owner, Roy, he threatened to sue me personally for the $1,000 and all legal fees too. Without my permission, he put me on speaker phone during that conversation, and the whole office personnel laughed after the threat. I was appalled. I couldn't more strongly recommend you choose a different company for solar. These people are unethical to say the least.

I returned the hose reel, because when I opened the top to attach the hose, the top came off in my hands.

We put in a solar pool a few years ago. Except for the first year l, it has not worked properly. When we called for help, we were charged and it still doesn’t work. We never saw a difference on our electric bill. Very disappointed

They said they will call back to set up an appointment but never did.

Works great !!! Temp raises about 4degrees after running it 6 hours. The rep DJ was very nice and the install was fast and the crew cleaned up everything.I Would definitely recommend this company.

I had a wonderful experience dealing with Suntrek solar from start to finish. Tabatha was very knowledgeable and easy to speak with about the entire process! We are enjoying the pool daily and the kids say it’s the most fun they have had in the pool in 10 years! Outstanding!!!

Are use their new panel system seems to work very well he does the pool look faster than system that I’ve had in the past and seems to be very well quality product

I have since sold the house but I had solar put up just for the pool and I didn’t notice much difference. I had somebody come out a couple of times it was too complicated for me!

Did not stand behind their guarantee. They are dishonest and not to be trusted. I would run from them fast, there are plenty of good honest businesses out there, don't be fooled by this company.

They could not deliver what they promised. Delayed and finally confessed our jacuzzi could not be heated with their design/system and this experience cost us $ 1,726.00 and we have nothing to show for.

Suntrek provided both solar hot water and solar PV. Both were installed in a professional manner, and perform very well. Tabitha was our manager, and ensured our unusual PV mounting system got thru county permitting. She also ensured our system was capable to add a battery in the future. I should also note that I used a Suntrek solar system when we first purchased our house 10 years earlier. The reliability of this system was why I chose Suntrek again for our remodel.

Their systems are not the best on the market and they are expensive for what you get. In addition, they way they install is by gluing to the roof shingles, I was sold by suntrek that this was a good thing, but after talking to expert roofers they disagree. Suntrek has changed the way they attach to your roof but now they charge and arm and a leg for the system that helps them to attach to a rail. I had to take my solar pool panels off the roof for a remodel and to have suntrek take them off and put back on was about as expensive as getting a new system with a competitive panel and installer. The competitor was the winner of my business, but I feel suntrek lost out on my business and there was some bad goodwill here. They could have been more helpful with this pricing and they would have had a happy customer instead of not at all. In addition, they never really worked that well when they were on my roof, pool barely got to 80 degrees. With my new panels, I am at 83 on a regular basis. Dont waste you money here!

The system does its job and is well installed. The only problem is this 12 warranty they advertise. Every time I have an issue they say “that’s not covered by the warranty”. At about 9 years the system failed completely and started spewing black particles into the pool. It had to be completely replaced. You guessed it not covered by the warranty. So I paid them another $5,000.00 to install a completely new system. Since then I have replaced all of the sensors as they go out. Not covered by the warranty. I replaced the electronic controller. Not cover d by the warranty. When you call them for service they tell you that it is almost $200.00 just to come out and see what’s wrong with the system.

Their sales literature says the system is guaranteed for twelve years with out further clarification. But trust me they do not honor any part of a warranty at all.
