SWELL Avis 

Ordered a glass terrarium, stand and other things for a setup for daughters first snake for her birthday.
Tank arrived with damage to front, Swell quickly organised a replacement that arrived with even more damage.
Both tanks sent out in retail packaging without any extra protection.
Would put more hope in a curry sent out in an envelope.
Now getting a refund sometime in next 5-7(?), days but left with two damaged tanks, a stand and some other essentials not required now.
The tanks should apparently retail around £376?
Sold at time around £250+.
Cannot be arsed putting any more effort into thinking of this 'swell', company.

Worst communication, I've emailed this company numerous times and they don't read my email, company is a joke, they have annoyed me that much I'm going to take them to an ombudsman. Customer service is the worst I've ever came across had an order issue going on since the beginning of November, paid next day delivery the order came a week later, numerous other issues, you email the company & they take days to get back and then don't answer your question or offer a resolution I would recommend never buyingangthing from this company

I placed an order for a tank set up the tank came with no filter. I also ordered sand and tools which never came. now they are saying the separate filter was the sand. They are deceitful and dishonest. This was my first ever order with them and definitely the last.

I always give a company a 2 nd chance but how wrong was i I ordered a tetra aps 400 air pump but when I plugged it in no air bubbles so I decided to strip it down I am a electrician when I took the rubber lets say baffles they were both spit when I received the item the box looked old and grubby and some parts missing I will never buy from this company again this is the 2 nd time they sent me faulty goods and it takes too long for them to exchange the goods

Wont use this company again. Reasonably quick in delivery but Very poor customer services if you need to return anything.

I purchased a pump with the help of one of there staff and I gave them sizes etc
The pump is no good I have tried everything it works BUT not fit for my job

They were quick to sell BUT I have emailed them over 10 times and up comes we will get back to you within 3 days even one said this afternoon
Still not got

What do I do next ?

I will never buy again here
I am really disappointed with my purchase. I bought two pullovers swell size M and they look like a XXL. Besides as I am from Spain I have to pay around 12 € to return them, Surfdome or Swell should be responsible for transport cost since they didn't give me an accurate information about the size.

I placed an order for a pair of shorts and a hoody. I got a shipping notification on the hoody, nothing about the shorts. I was hoping to get both items before a vacation so I wrote them an email asking about the status of the shorts. Never got a response, received the hoody and never heard anything else about the shorts! What company does that? Will never order from again.

great clothes, good specials if you type 'swell discounts' in google too.

I recently (May 2015) placed an order with Swell.com and found them to be very efficient. My order (several tshirts, board shorts, sandals) we're dispatched within 36 hours and sent via DHL.
All products were as described and the correct size. Just got to pay attention to differences in US vs UK sidings.
I had no need to return any items, so I can't vouch for the returns process or customer support.
Still, I wouldn't hesitate in ordering from them again.

I did one order with them and although most of the products were okay, one T-shirt which was advertised on their page as being a regular fit looked like XXXXL when delivered. Communicating with Customer Service was okay, although not lightning fast, but Swell would not pay for the return shipping fee, and I would have had to pay for the delivery of the exchange product too! Even when this was clearly the company's fault not to check if their product description was correct.

Too bad, as they otherwise have a very wide range of cool products.
