Sytner Group - Sytner Coventry MINI Avis 

Never done a distant sale before as viewed the car online with videos , asked for some specifics and nothing was too difficult for them. Even signing the paper work was done all online. They made the transaction so simple even part exchanged my car which they collected and delivered my new car some 350 miles and it arrived 8am on. Sunday morning. Can’t beat that for service .

Overall we are very happy with the car it drives beautifully and has everything we asked for. The sales experience however was not so good.
As we were quite far from the garage we couldn't go see the car so we’re reliant on the garage to send a video which took almost a week to come through (other garages managed this within hours) luckily we were keen on this car otherwise we would have moved on.
I also feel we were given a hard sell, we were charged, we feel a lot for delivery which was driven down (adding more miles) and I was also convinced to go for the autoglym option but upon arrival of the car we are not convinced this was done (or not very well at least) and only half the products appear to be in the package that comes with the deal.
We are also disappointed to find the car has 2 marks that weren’t pointed out to us on the video or even mentioned. It is not a deal breaker but it would have been nice to be informed rather then find out on exchange.
We have written to the garage to let them know our dissatisfaction and a week down the line we have still not received the courtesy of a response.
So sad to say the service/sales experience we have received from Coventry was poor compared to other garages we have dealt with.

Purchased online/phone and it was seamless! Alana and Jacob took really good care of everything, keeping me informed. They were both knowledgeable, friendly and explained everything. Our mini was at a very good price too. The car was delivered and I have a very happy daughter!!! So thank you team Sytner Coventry!!!!

We visited Mini Coventry for the first time and were very impressed. Everyone chatted to us and we were given a coffee to drink. We were enquiring about a mini with a wrap on display outside the showroom. We hadn’t fully decided if we were buying it, but I needed a little run and round. We looked at PCP prices with the finance manager and we came to an agreement and bought the car. If we hadn’t been happy with the service we would not have bought the car. We do have two other cars which are Mercedes AMG’s and we think your mini staff were nicer than some of the Mercedes showroom staff we have visited in the past.

The sale went straightforward until completion. Then I found out that I had selected the car based on wrong information from the salesman. Too late. All payments done. Too tired to start looking for another car/model again. Neither the salesman, nor the management, were interested in my disappointment. The car is nice, the experience was not.

I am 18 and had brought my second car through them and used the finance. From the moment I arrived I felt so unwelcome and throughout the experience this just went downhill. I loved the car was pretty much stuck and unable to go anywhere else for the vehicle. I was treated as if I was a child, I had brought my parents with me as it was a big investment for me and wanted them to think all was ok with the car. Instead to talking to me the person buying and paying for the car they constantly spoke to my parents or rang me demanding to speak to them. When signing all the finance documents and order forms I found that they were trying to charge me £1000 extra for the car. Amends were attempted to be made but even at hand over I was treated as a child. Since I have had further conversations with them and still am being treated as a child. I would never return to this garage.

Overall we’re happy with the Electric Mini, the service from Sytner Coventry has been disappointing. When the car arrived there was a small dent which we were promised would be repaired. One week later we have heard nothing. Secondly and worse, the car was provided with the Satnav locked! Again we were promised a speedy delivery of a USB to resolve this but nothing has arrived.

The sales representative Elianna Clews, was very efficient, lovely to deal with, explained everything really well & was a pleasure to deal with. She always came back very quickly with any queries, a credit to the Sytner Group.
They gave us a great deal on our part exchange & our new car is perfect for us. Thank you!!!
