Disappointed with the Quality and Customer Service
I am very disappointed with both the quality of this cookware and T-fal’s customer service.
I purchased a 12-piece stainless steel cookware set expecting the quality that T-fal is known for.
The developed significant brown/copper-colored discoloration and staining after its very first use while cooking plain rice.
I contacted T-fal Customer Service and provided photos of the cookware and explained what happened. After reviewing my complaint, T-fal refused to replace the cookware or provide a refund. I was told that the discoloration was caused by overheating and that I should not use the cookware on high heat. I was also provided with cleaning instructions.
I do not believe this is a reasonable resolution. The cookware was brand new and the issue occurred after the first use under normal cooking conditions. I expected a new stainless steel cookware set to withstand normal cooking without developing significant discoloration immediately.
I made a good-faith effort to resolve this directly with T-fal, but Customer Service refused to offer a replacement or refund and attributed the issue to overheating.
