Clear SCAM
This company contacted me for a collaboration opportunity with a brand called white luxe.
now the initial email stated i would receive "product completely free!" in return for content and a review.
now after responding with " i'd love to take part in this opportunity let me know what details you need"
They then responded with a step by step instructions and linking a video tutorial on how to do the steps as well.
step by step instruction of "purchase the products with your own money" then create content, upload and review on amazons website then send an invoice to be reimbursed for the cost.
i have been an influencer for years and have worked with hundreds of brands around the world and when i saw the second email from them i have never recognised a MAJOR RED FLAG easier in my life!
Not only do you run into the risk of not receiving the reimbursement but you then break Amazons policy, failing to comply with the UK consumer law.
the whole business itself is failing to comply with so many things ASA, CMA, Amazons policy, UK consumer Law and most importantly Action fraud.
