Teachers Test Prep Avis 

It's all great information but he goes extremely fast!!! I understand it's time-sensitive but it's just way too fast for me.

I took the Multiple Subject Subtest 1 course with Todd Lewis. I thought it was really good and am hoping if I study what was taught I will pass. I test in 2 weeks so we will see.

I took the CBEST reading course with Katie McLemore. She is friendly, has a sense of humor, which made the course fun. She gave us hints and her presentation was excellent. Took the time to answer questions. I would strongly recommend her!

She was very informed and professional. I enjoyed her class very much.

I took a zoom class by an instructor, Katherine for CBEST Math and it was helpful and I highly recommend. She also has a sense of humor to keep you stay up for a long classes.

The class was incredibly helpful. Todd made the coursework very easy to digest and the overall presentation was quite efficient. I'm confident I will pass the CSET when I take it! Thanks!

Todd Lewis was a incredible instructor. His lectures were very clear and easy to grasp. I was relieved after the first 15 min of the very first session because I knew that the money I paid for these workshops were going to be worthwhile. What’s even more delightful, was the fact that he welcomed questions at the end of every session (going past the instructed time). I took notice that Todd is a genuine educator who cares about the success of his participates and really takes the time to answer any of our questions. Furthermore, he is very knowledgeable about the material he is teaching and lastly, he has a great sense of humor so those two hours are enjoyable :) Thank you Mr. Lewis!

Justin was fantastic and helped me to PASS my Social Science subtest ll. I look forward to the next course and taking class with Justin !!!!

Sharon is a great instructor she will guide you in how to develop your skills in teaching orienting, guiding, and how to teach your students for helping them master their reading skills

The class felt rushed.

I did the CBEST writing tutoring. She did explain some characteristics of good writing formats, but she was looking up definitions on the spot and it gave me the impression that she hadn't digested the information herself. When a member didn't understand a definition, she didn't have any additional explanation or examples to give. The essay with a 4-point score also didn't fit the format that she was explaining.

Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the second class in its entirely, but the first and what I could hear on the second class was very helpful and very well explained. Thank you.

I really enjoyed Sharon's class. She definitely knows her stuff! And she's really funny!
I can't believe that this class used to be a 1 day class, there is so much information! At times, it feels overwhelming and like we are moving very fast, but overall, I got a lot out of the class.
I am taking this test for my 4th time tomorrow! For once, I finally feel like I know what they are looking for on the case study and writing portions... hoping to finally pass this time!
My one regret is not taking this class sooner!

Sharon is an excellent instructor and her advice and feedback is excellent. Her slideshares are especially helpful to teach future test takers to respond in specific langauge acquistion and langauge instructional domains as well as in successive steps respond to case studies or essay prompts. Sharon front loads a lot of test vocabulary and content in specific skills domains and specific teacher orineted strategies categories. She aligns this as well to specific practice test questions. This makes Sharon's course better than many of the RICA prep texts in the market. Her class streamlines the content in a very methodical , organized and structured approach. Sharon is truly a RICA expert and this course was well worth the time and money. As it regards the test, I have yet to take it. But I quite certain that Sharon's class will have helped me a great deal to study not only the most important content but also practice the best writing practices for the divergent repsonse questions. Thank you Sharon and thanks to Teachers Test Prep!

Once again just like my previous review, ten minutes spent talking about what went wrong with the teacher's day/evening - so that puts me in a place where I am thinking okay the person is not 100% to do their job! Wish there were more slides, there was a lot of talking - teacher read out loud her notes and either you can pay attention to her or start typing for your life every word she is uttering. She read out loud two example essays that I am not sure how it helped me as there were errors as well...if i want to read example essays there is internet and as teacher mentioned other resources, was I a bad student or my expectations were displaced? in my mind Prep class for a specific test is ABOUT the test not my writing skills or abilities, what is expected and what will help one do well. Please have your instructors come prepared or cancel their class, after teaching for years you are still doing umm ummm and share that writing is not your best skills, that you are a MATH teacher - lost your credibility when you started with how you forgot his and that and that you are frazzled - I paid for two hours and I was expecting every minute to be valued and informative...googling definitions in the middle of a session? this list is long - sorry Katie you might be a great 8th grade Math teacher but please show some professionalism and at least a bit of interest in your coaching that you care!

The course was great. I only wish it would last a bit longer but overall great. The instructor (Sharon) was awesome. I had just taken another test prep before this one and I felt like I wasted my money on that class but not on this class. It was great and very informed.

This class was informative and Sharon was great!

The first time I took the test, in 2018, my CPACE Content score was 217. I would have passed except my constructed response scores received only one +. This time around, I took a Teachers Test Prep course first with Myeasha Pruitt. She specifically addressed my questions about the constructed response questions and she provided clear, concise instructions and practice with them. However, my score on the exam this second time around was 217 once again, and again I received just one plus for each of the constructed responses.I am not sure if Myeasha provided us with wrong information about how to tackle the constructed response questions or if the CTC scored my test wrong, but I am very dissatisfied.
