Teachers Test Prep Avis 

I had such a hard time passing the math portion of the CBEST and had taken it twice and failed both times. Before I took it the second time I was relying on YouTube videos and the "Cracking the CBEST" book. I actually scored lower the second time I took it. I was feeling very defeated and discouraged. I bought the "Core Plus" program and although its a bit pricey, I finally passed on my third time. This program changed the way I thought about solving the problems which to me was key. The test basically has a right answer for every wrong way of solving the problem so you really have to know what you're doing. This was where this program/website is helpful. I definitely recommend it to anyone else who struggles with math

I bought all three video packages for my Multiple Subject CSET test. They were very informative and really helped me. I was able to pass the CSET on my first try. I took very detailed notes from the videos, made flash cards, and even set up a timeline of history on my wall from the information I learned through TTP. The truth is, you will not pass the test just by watching the videos, you have to take notes, take the practice tests, and really study the information. It's a hard test and I couldn't have passed without TTP.

I took online Praxis prep classes. The video lessons were Extremely helpful! I scored above average in 3 out of the 4 exams I had to take. I wish Teachers Test Prep had an online tutorial for the Foundations of Reading Test.

I liked the videos and outlines. The teachers explained things well in a way that I understood. However, when I took the CSET exams, I got a lot of questions that did NOT match the content that was covered by Teachers Test Prep. It also wasn't covered in the books I had purchased and practiced from though. There were things I had not learned about at all and so I had to make some educated guesses.

I believe the teacher was amazing and done a great job. I wish we had another day to practice writing.

The class was only 3 classes long of two hours each and the teacher ended the last one 45 minutes early. If a class is only 6 hours long each hour should be utilized not 5 hours and 15 minutes. I felt like for the price we should have kept going over the material or going over practice tests.

I really enjoyed the teacher and he gave helpful hints.
I am taking the test next week and looking forward to how I do.

I've taken the RICA several times and finally passed. I found that using this website helped with planning out specific examples on the essay portion and going into specifics about each domain. The roadmap was a good guide for tracking which areas to study too. I also recommend purchasing the book "Ready for RICA". They have great tips on test taking and how to organize your essay. Good luck!

Teachers Test Prep helped me on the fundamental aspects of the exam. I spent a few hours everyday watching the videos and taking notes. Once the allotted time (or access) to the videos ended, I studied my notes up until the test date. I passed the first time. I highly recommend the program.

With the help of these videos I passed all my social science CSETS!

I felt overall I learned a lot in the test prep but when it came to the test there were some things that were not discussed at all. Not sure if it's just a matter of information needing to be updated or what. I wish there were more sample tests or questions to work on as well so that we could get a better handle of the information.

Ms. Katherine was my teacher for the CBEST prep class. She is absolutely wonderful throughout entire CBEST (Math, Reading, and Writing) preparation classes. I found out which specific component of each subject to really focus on before retaking my CBEST exam. I re-studied all her detailed notes, practiced daily math, reading, and writing exercises from Ms. Katherine's class, Teachers Test Prep practice CBEST tests and all other resources. Thank you Ms. Katherine so much for the time you spent to help me and the other students prepare adequately for our exam!

I highly recommend Teachers Test Prep, over any other website or book. I bought them all! I also recommend online tutor. I passed after taking a course with their tutor who had great math techniques.

Lena was absolutely amazing ! She provides all the information needed to pass and does an amazing job with pacing/ presentation of information-perfect to prepare you to pass!

My goal is to prepare and pass the CBEST for my further teaching activities. I can only say flattering words about the instructor: an accurate and accessible explanation of the material. The professor quickly responds to the reaction of the audience, is ready to answer all our questions. For example, there are students in the group who are ESL students, including myself, the instructor patiently explains and makes sure that the terms and statements are understood. During the class, the atmosphere is working, active, positive, excluding the state of stress.

The live test prep was very helpful! I used the self guided lessons once before and had to retake the test but when I did the live test prep sessions I passed the test the next time I took the RICA!! This final time was my 11th time taking the RICA. So, this live class definitely helps!!! Due to the pandemic this class was virtual and over the course of five class sessions. I enjoyed being able to attend five sessions with focused lessons with days in between to study what was reviewed in class.

Super helpful to have a live person explain all the concepts. I really did learn something new! Thank you!
