An amazing resource for teaching music, especially in lockdown - it’s been a life saver! Very user friendly interface. Music quizzes that engage Y7-Y11 with the ability to track results in real-time so you can see who is engaging but also any students who might be struggling a bit. Excellent value for money. Will be keeping a subscription post-lockdown (if that ever arrives!)

TeachingGadget has a whole host of fantastic games that are proving extremely popular with all of our pupils from year 7 to 13. The service has been excellent and although we are only a couple of weeks in to having it, I can say it has been the best purchase of this academic year (20-21) without a doubt.

Teaching Gadget has been such a saviour in lockdown. It’s a great way to actively engage students to get to grips with concepts covered. They love the instant and competitive nature and I love the fact we have a record of the students’ progress. A brilliant buy for lockdown but am also looking forward to using it with classes when we are back in the classroom. Excellent service too.

excellent resource that has the advantage that you can use it as well very spontanously and the studentd absolutely love it whatever their age and it is a very versatile tool, so many quizzes can be used as well with students that don‘t speak English.
It‘s like kamoot, but more reliable as you know what to expect within the quizzes.
What I under-estimated is that it is an important tool to improve learning. „Miss, I did the quizz so often to get higher points, I now even know it by heart where the notes are on the keyboard“. (yes, guess what the purpose was...😁).

Big plus: weak students come out of hiding and finally get motivation as they can see easily on their test results that they are improving and that is what gives them motivation.

Excellent resource . Using it with all keystage 3 students and they find it good and I find it a good way to assess progress especially as we are Remote Learning from home. Good clear graphics and user friendly. It works equally well on a laptop or device, so it is very inclusive. I would 100% recommend.

There is great service and a great product, and then there is TeachingGadget.com! Elliot has been fantastic and exceptionally helpful setting things up. His tutorial videos are clear, precise and exactly what we need to get the best out of the product, and the actual product is fantastic. Pupils are getting a lot of it and I can see using it in the classroom as well as online teaching. Brilliant!

Teaching Gadget is a fantastic website with high quality resources which aid teacher planning and student learning tremendously. I am using the tracking function to support remote learning this week and Elliott has been incredibly helpful with setting this up to work for all teachers in our department.

I couldn't believe my luck when I found out about teachinggadget.com. It is perfect for students to test their knowledge in a fun way. It has been a particularly useful tool for my students who needed to learn to read music notation and rhythms etc. I can also monitor the games they play and their scores. It is very user-friendly.

I have been using Teaching Gadget for 3 months now and found it to be an invaluable part of my lesson planning.
The games incorporated within the website are both challenging and engaging for students of varying abilities.

Homework can be easily set on a number of platforms including Google Classroom and then be marked and ranked by Teaching Gadget to be exported to Microsoft Excel for summative assessment purposes.

Great resource for a low price. It's not a silver bullet but offers a great range of teaching resources and a great collection of quizzes and practice materials, and it keeps growing. Very responsive admin and support!

Whether it’s catch-up curriculum, retrieval, work-load, monitoring, assessment...teaching gadget ticks all the boxes. I’ve used it before, and it was the first thing I asked for when I started at my new school a year ago. Can’t be without it!

Brilliant resource for KS3 and KS4. I have been using it for years now! Excellent for tracking progress and saves lots of wasted time marking homework. Very helpful tech support too.
