Missed 3 deliveries in a row. They don't answer the phone EVER, and never return messages. They will communicate by email if they feel like it, but don't hold your breath. Worst customer service ever. Sometimes when I did receive my deliveries, an item would be missing as well. I put up with this crap for a while because the food is really good, but after my last 3 deliveries were missed I was done.
I loved it and then I didn't. I am extremely busy this time of year and they failed me. I'm sitting here at 5pm and still no delivery. Oh and today is Tuesday...my delivery day was supposed to be yesterday. When I reached out, I was told my delivery wouldn't be coming and a credit was issued. Thanks so much...now I have to run to the grocery store, shop, and cook for my family. Maybe they could have contacted me earlier in the day?
Delivery issues, bad customer service...
They didn't process my first order. When I contacted customer service they blamed the IT department.
I should have read the reviews before trusting this company. This seems to be a common issue.
I started several weeks ago. Love the vessel they ship in. Love the concept overall. Customer service is very slow to respond and not available at all on weekends. Food is always- 100% of the time missing an item. Deliveries have been late or not made at all 50% of the time. I will give this one more week and then cancel if not perfect next delivery.

Below is the email I sent on January 8th. It is now January 22nd and I still have not received a reply. I think they may need to work on their customer service.
"To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. This was to be my family's first time using your delivery service. I received this email last night letting me know that my order was on its way. I actually started to get excited about the prospect of having a home cooked meal with my family.
When I got home and did not see the package I was surprised, but I figured it would show up at any minute. 30 minutes later, still no food. With dinner time fast approaching I was starting to worry. I decided to see if I could track the package via FedEx. I put in my tracking number and the FedEx site helpfully showed that I should receive my package by the end of the day tomorrow, 1/9/19. I had to look back at your email from last night to make sure I had not read the wrong date. But no, it very clearly stated that I would be receiving my food by the end of the day today, 1/8/19.
I have already canceled my order for next week. I can only imagine how appetizing the food I am supposed to get tomorrow will be, now that it has had a full day sitting in a FEDEx warehouse in NJ before it will spend another day on a truck."
I have emailed 3 times to cancel my subscription with no response. The food was just ok and they do not have enough options for a family of 5. I really just want to not have to worry about getting things delivered or charged I don't want. I keep skipping the delivery but I dont want the worry of it and would love to just cancel this.
Four weeks with Terra's food and we are cancelling. First two weeks, our food was delivered a day late, so it was warm and we had to throw out most of it. Third week, it was never delivered. Fourth week it was 3 days late so all food went in the trash. I will say, the first week, customer service was great and refunded us, the second week, we never heard back from them - after that they were mostly good with customer service. While it's likely a FedEx issue, we are cancelling, because fedex said there was no way the food could make it to us overnight, which is what Terras kitchen promises and what is needed for fresh food. Too bad, because the food that was fresh was decent (though very very expensive). Only issue is chopping vegetables and herbs means they get gross fast. In general, the meals were pretty basic for the price. We did enjoy the quality of the meats, though.

I want to love them! Being a fellow Marylander I was excited to support them. It started off great! Then there was an order that came and was missing something for a recipe. It was explained after I commented about it being missing that the shipment didn’t arrive to the supplier so they didn’t have it to ship with the vessel. So you were just going to let it go if I didn’t say anything? If you knew this, you should have emailed me stating such and issued the partial refund for it, not waiting for me to contact you.
Then a couple weeks later, I get a delivery exception so now my food cannot be eaten. They issued an inconvenience refund and said they would be issuing a full refund on my purchase within 3-4 business days. That was on October 19th. I am still waiting for my refund.
Then today, my vessel doesn’t arrive again. This was supposed to make life easier by allowing me to get food and not have to plan meals, shop, and prep them. It makes things worse because I was expecting to have food then it doesn’t come and I have to try and figure out a meal plan, shopping list, and shop unexpectedly! It wouldn’t be so bad if they would reship a new vessel the next day, but they don’t.
I understand non-delivery isn’t their fault per se. However, what are they doing to prevent it from happening in the future?
Beware They're Unreliable! In 4 weeks of ordering they got one order right. The first order came as expected, the second order arrived and none of the food was what I ordered. The next two weeks were delivered a day late making the food unsafe to eat. Terra's Kitchen is totally unreliable.
Be careful of signing up with them. They usually let you know when they are sending out an order that you haven't approved. This last time, I had no notice until it was too late to cancel. They sent me meals that I did not even pick out and were not helpful at all when I contacted them. I will not be using them again for this reason.
They apologized, refunded me, and also issued courtesy credit for the inconvenienced caused.

Terra's Kitchen makes it so easy for me to throw together a healthy and delicious dinner on a weeknight. As a person who is extremely slow in the kitchen, I appreciate that Terra's Kitchen gives me the chance to prepare a home-cooked meal in a fraction of the time it would normally take me. I also save time by not having to think too hard about the menu, plan a shopping list, or spend time getting to and from the grocery store, navigating the aisles and standing in the checkout line. I also LOVE that there are a variety of dietary preferences for me to choose from and cannot say enough good stuff about Terra's Kitchen.

Love the packaging and that the food is cut/ prepped. Not many meat options other than chicken. Some meals were really good and some tasted to salty or hot.

I like the food choices, and the recipes are easy to prepare. My problem is that the food expires within 3-4 days, which since ours is delivered on Thursdays doesn’t really help me when I need it the most, which is weekday meals instead of weekend meals.
