Poor experience
Poor experience. I received my products, but a lot later than stated having paid for expedited delivery. Communication from the company was awful. I had to call them to ask where my order was, having not received anything for a week and was told one of the items I had ordered wasn’t in stock but they had emailed me to tell me this and that my order was on hold. I checked all email folders and couldn’t find anything. I had to ring them again to say I also hadn’t received an invoice receipt, to which I was told “we have emailed you so that’s your problem”. I’ve now recently tried to return an item and they said they would email me a return form, again no reply. Started to think there was an issue with emailing system, however the reminder to provide a review has come through fine. Confirms a level of Unprofessionalism and no courtesy or empathy for their customers

Looking into the only order on the system with your full name, Louis Tasker, I can see that an order was placed at 9:36pm on 20.11. One of our team members then contacted you via email on 21.11 to advise of the out-of-stock item. Apologies if you didn't receive this. Once the team had made contact with you, on 22.12, we switched the out-of-stock product with an 'in stock' alternative' and immediately dispatched this to you.
Our courier tracking shows that the parcel was delivered on 23.11 at 2.19pm, and left in a safe place. An SMS notification of this was sent to you. Could you clarify where your week waiting time came from? If there is any discrepancy in our information, we'd very much like to get to the bottom of it.
I would also like to clarify that review requests come from us but via TrustPilot directly, so any automated messages sent via our own emailing system potentially could've been filtered out.

very disappointed ... i have been using cal service for past 5 years, Its getting worse. Advertising on web fast turn around on the web, They have my gas analyser for 7 days and now they are saying 10 day minimum to return my equipment, now have charged me £15/= for Delivery while they are ADVERTISING £4.95 PICK UP AND RETURN... so its about getting you send your equipment by FAULSE advertising and once they have it they can take there time by delay and charge extra for delivery ..very last time using this company which ethics stands ZERO My experience was with Rose and dealing manager. i have paid what they ask me, just to get my equipment back ..once i get it back never to use this company. if it still not sorted to my expectation we will make sure we will put our review to others places like google and facebook and write about my experience with the receipt, what i am charged...let us see if anyone of this company caressssssss

I believe a member of our calibration department has been in touch with you directly, and has resolved this issue to your satisfaction, to the tune of a refund of the carriage charges and a discount voucher for calibration next year.
We would also like to kindly highlight that the carriage charges on our website now reflect how shipping charges are applied throughout the business. This small discrepancy you saw was a result of a temporary content review that was being conducted behind the scenes. We can only apologise for this oversight and worked to promptly fix the issue.

Don't expect a rapid service.
I ordered a Moisture Meter via Acutests "Test4less" portal.
The website seemed to indicate the the instrument was available but I then received a message to say that they had to order it in and there would be a 7 - 10 day delay. Well, OK, I can wait a little while.
Eventually, they received the instrument and shipped it to me via DPD - Then the fun began!
For four days, I have received a "we are delivering today" message to be followed by a "sorry we missed you" apology, despite me being in all day!
I've chased Acutest about this problem and they told me "I am very sorry but there is nothing we can do regarding delayed deliveries."
I accept that it is a DPD problem but after four missed deliveries, I would expect Acutest to take some ownership of this problem, recognise that delivery is now unlikely and issue a refund.
Come on Acutest, stop blaming others and deliver my meter!

We have also been made aware that DPD were under additional pressures due to the Royal Mail strikes, which is why your delivery time was more extended than usual. Unfortunately, once parcels leave our warehouse we have very little control, other than to chase/track the courier when needed, so completely share in your frustration. I do understand my colleague reached out to you via phone/email but received no reply.

Communication is good
Communication is good, but disappointed with the overall purchase. Spent over £900 on a test instrument which came with only 2 months worth of manufactures calibration certificate. Should really be advised of this prior to purchase.

Good communication in relation to delivery. As well as the added reassurance of a confirmation message to ensure I was the correct person at the correct address due the items high value.

I like megger but this time Im not really satisfied. Ive seen the error and freezes. after one week of use one the the probes has its shield broken.
