After setting up Oxford's first independently owned coffee shop in 2009, we then opened our Roastery in 2014, where we source, small batch roast and serve the best coffee we can get our hands on. We pride ourselves on sustainably sourcing our coffee with the highest environmental and ethical standards, with 6 of coffees being sourced through direct trade. This means our farmers get a fair wage, encouraging sustainable production and ethical labour practices. Sustainability with no compromise on quality is at the heart of what we offer.

Delicious coffee and exceptional service
I made a mistake with my order adress. But still I ordered Sunday lunch and coffee was with me Monday lunch. Exceptional service from missing bean and velocity bike couriers - excellent advert for buying local!

We collected our coffee pods and stopped for a coffee in the cafe. The cafe had a lovely and calm feel.

Great beans roasted to perfection
Missing Bean are great coffee roasters. Their roasting is tailored to their incoming beans in a way that truly enhances the flavour profile. I can’t recommend them enough.

Great coffee, great service
Missing bean has always been good to me. Quick to respond and more than fair. For example, a coffee shipment was late (Royal Mail’s fault) so they sent another bag of coffee right away.
Even better: the coffee is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend their coffee subscriptions.

Ordered a UK Gift Subscription from the US
Since I live in the US and was trying to order a gift for our son who lives in the UK, I emailed my request and Olly quickly responded and provided the necessary information. The gift subscription was delivered right on time and our son was extremely pleased with the gift.
