Great gift idea.
Really great product, well packaged and decent instructions on assembly and care. It was a birthday gift and luckily i ordered it a few days in advance as delivery was a day later than I requested hence dropping 1⭐️.
I also ordered the tweezers which i’d recommend as it looks easy to get your hand inside but once the first few plants are in space is a bit tighter and their really useful.

A reasoably good kit but could do with a few tweaks
The kit was good & my son enjoyed planting his terrarium. But the delivery wasn’t nxt day as paid for & I think the ivy plant included in this set is pretty rubbish plant to include. It hasn’t stopped my son enjoying his new terrarium but I don’t think it’s a great plant when there are more interesting & fitting plants.

Upon checking your order, we can see that next-day delivery was not selected during checkout; only our standard delivery option was chosen. In this case, our processing time is up to 3 working days. We also noted that your order was placed on 26th July and dispatched by us the next day to ensure it reached you promptly.
Regarding the ivy, we understand that plant preferences can vary. The ivy is included as part of the terrarium kit you purchased, but we do offer other kits that do not include ivy. We strive to create kits with a variety of plants so that everyone can find something they like. We’re glad to hear that your son still enjoyed planting his terrarium, despite your reservations about the ivy.

Beautiful terrariums
Beautiful terrariums , I'm a little late writing review as I bought in 2022.
My terrariums look fab still I have never watered they are left to their own devices and are doing great.
Customer service was very good and answered very quickly.

Terrarium kit plus plants…
We ordered a terrarium kit plus plants for our daughter-in-law's birthday. The items were delivered promptly and were of good quality. We thought there was a problem with the order. The communication with Anne at the Urban Botanist was handled quickly and politely and the problem was us misreading the details on the website. We would definitely use this company again.

Great terrariums and above and beyond service
I bought the ready-made terrarium with a bonsai tree for my husband's birthday. He's always wanted a bonsai tree and a terrarium, so this seemed like the perfect combination.
The package arrived very quickly and was beautifully packaged. Unfortunately, the delivery company didn't seem to be very careful with the parcel, and the glass had a crack. I emailed Urban Botanist's customer service about the issue. I still can't believe how helpful and efficient they were in resolving the problem. They went above and beyond, ensuring a replacement was sent to us promptly. So as a summary of the story: the terrarium looks absolutely stunning in our living room!
