Tiles Ahead Avis 

I highly recommend this company. I feel they are very professional. We had advice on our bathroom recently from Josh Fry and he was so friendly and helpful. He was able to give us advice on our pipe work and how we can re design our bathroom. I will be coming back again.

Where do I start!

I ordered 120 square metres of tiles back in June and paid £4000! and was told 3 weeks delivery...this went on and on for weeks with no delivery, kept ringing and ringing and nobody ever answers the phone, so I had to keep making the journey up to the shop to speak to someone..and every time I was fobbed off saying next week but next week never came. eventually after another 2 weeks and another visit to the shop I was told they were coming in on the Wednesday and they will be delivered to me friday...I took another day off work and nothing arrived. tried ringing but no answer so I went back up the shop Monday to be told " oh we had the wrong colour delivered" not even a call the week before to let me know they were not arriving! eventually, 2 weeks later they were delivered over 4 drops within 2 weeks apart, when the builder came to lay them he explained that they were not all delivered, I should have had 222 slabs but only had 182! went back up to explain and to be told that they were all delivered and it was my word against his! he got all the paperwork out from deliveries but I had only signed for 2 of them,
absolutely disgusting customer service, he then suggested that they have been stolen! they are 900 x 600 and weigh heavy. so as I was short on my order I had no other option but to go back and spend another £880 for the 40 that were missing, he then had the audacity to tell me they had gone up 10% for carriage! bearing in mind these came over on the original shipment as he told me he had 4 pallets left on the original load.

It got to the stage that every time I had to go there my anxiety would go through the roof....I have never ever felt like that before going to a shop!

I will never shop there again or recommend them!

On my return that day I was so annoyed that when I mentioned (warned them not to go there) it in my neighborhood WhatsApp group 2 neighbors came back and said if they had known I was going there they would have advised otherwise!

Called 3 times to confirm tiles delivery and booked day off to make sure I am available for the delivery just for them not to deliver tiles. No apology, very disappointed, I will never use them again.

Great selection of floor and wall tiles, super friendly assistant Michelle who provided very helpful suggestions and advice. Very happy with everything.

Fabulous choice of tiles and very competitive prices. We had been to so many other outlets and settled on Tiles Ahead because of the cost, friendly and approachable staff with great product knowledge. Would definitely recommend them.

We had new worktops and tiles fitted this week and they look great! 3 days work so we were not put out for too long and it was worth the inconvenience
Staff at tiles ahead were very helpful when choosing our worktop and tiles and friendly.
Their sub contractor Dave was a gent and popped round to look at the job and quickly come back with a price for fitting.
Trustworthy, clean, polite and all his colleagues were great as well.
Would highly recommend tiles ahead and Dave roberts and will be using both when we have our bathroom done :-)

Been looking everywhere for tiles and came across Tiles Ahead online. What a range of tiles. Popped into the showroom and was overwhelmed with what they had to offer. Nick was so kind and patient with me, his knowledge of tiles was very impressive I told him what I was looking for and within a few minutes he had 3 choices for me.

Didn't have the first idea about redesigning my bathroom, but thanks to the helpful staff at tiles ahead they took all the pressure off me and designed me the bathroom of my dreams. They also arrange for a fitter to carry the work out. Alan was polite and nothing was to much trouble for him and the bathroom is STUNNING

Do not use their recommended fitter `Alan`. His work is of a rushed and very low standard. Snapped a washer when installing taps, just heavily glued it instead of getting a new washer. Tile work uneven and patchy. Bath panel did not fit at all due to his poor fitting. The guy didn't even fix the toilet to the floor!

When approaching Tiles Ahead (as they supplied the fitter) they suggested we give a guy (i can't really call him fitter) as poorly skilled as that a chance to fix his work. Joke. Offered no other solutions and couldn't care less, left with a very poor job.

Otherwise, fine as a supplier.

I was slightly apprehensive about ordering our tiles for Tiles Ahead as they were sooo much cheaper than the high street. We bought tiles that Topps Tiles were selling for £55 per square metre (and wouldn't price match despite claims on their website), Tiles Ahead charged £22.50 for the exact same tiles (not copies, the exact same tiles!). We ordered 30 sq m, delivery was free and they arrived within 36 hours of ordering, communication was fab, so far we have opened and fitted around 80% of the boxes we ordered and we're yet to find a single one damaged in any way!! Very impressed!!! :-D I'd be looking here first when come to do our second bathroom.

Have used Tiles Ahead before and have received the same first class service and expertise again. Working with our time restraints and extremely helpful. Fantastic range of quality items. Can't fault them. Nick was very patient on a very busy Saturday and Adam had all the detail of the bathroom at his fingertips.

I identified the bathroom tiles I wanted but was told they were discontinued at my local supplier in Bournemouth. Tiles ahead had them on offer, did not have the quantity I need in stock but confirmed that they could source them from Spain. I ordered by telephone and was supplied inside the quoted timescale. There were some damaged in transit and these were replaced after just 3 days. Staff were helpful and polite and I would recomend this firm.

Our thanks to Nick and Alison for all their help when we decided to completely refurbish our bathroom. Everything from the floor and wall tiles to the bath, basin, toilet and wood furniture and fittings were purchased from Tiles Ahead. We decided to do the complete installation ourselves and made numerous changes along the way. Nick and Alison were most helpful as we discussed with them our options on a regular basis. The end result is better than we could have hoped for and could not have been achieved without their advice, so many thanks to you both and the rest of your staff.
