Completely unresponsive

Completely unresponsive. I submitted a complaint, as directed, using the council's complaints form. I did this on the 26th of July (no response), again on the 16th of August (no response) and I have also emailed the parks service directly (no response). Strategic priority #8 of the council plan states 'A council that listens and works for everyone'. Ignoring complaints does not make me feel like anyone is listening. In fact, I'm starting to feel embarrassed living in this borough.

It has been very difficult to speak to…

It has been very difficult to speak to someone at the housing office. I have tried various options but nobody answered the phone. Managed yesterday to speak to the main desk and asked where it was the new address for the Housing Department and the lady said "I do not know" but to ring another number and choose option 6 to get the information I was requesting. When did that end up on the Department of Nuisance, disturbances report cases...honestly they are not helpful whatsoever and are notorious for their lack of professionalism, they really care less in every way. On my later call, the lady mentioned to me, that the best is for you to go personally to the conucil and sort things out!!!!

Disgusting Attitude and Zero Support

I've been requesting via telephone three times in separate occasions for rent card to be sent out as my rent card is not working.

They make promises and I've waited over a month and nothing has changed.

I've expressed concerns over the telephone and they bounce the phone calls to different departments and often cut the line to avoid work and showing passive aggressive attitude.

These office workers are not professional and they show no sympathy or support as they have zero accountability.

I am aged and have various health conditions and its been stressing me out having to chase repeatedly.

This is not the first time I've had problems with tower hamlets services as this is a regular issue and the reviews speaks on its own. Disgusting.

the worst council ever to exist

One of the worst council ever to exist. It's Tower hamlets council. The service is very disgusting. They don't care about you at all. If you are looking for support from your council they don't give a crap about you. All the member of stuff who works inside the town. I'll have disgusting attitude and the act like they're the boss. Poor communication skill. I am surprised to see people like them actually working for the council.

Tower Hamlets Council - why are you taking me to court?

I have told you that I have moved out, 2 years ago.

Yet you kept sending me letters - knowing that I moved out.

You had, and still have, my email address. You had my mobile number.

Why would you think continuing to send letters to an address I no longer live at would solve this?

On December 28th 2022, I emailed you through your contact form that I moved out. Then, astonishingly, you emailed back on June 9th 2023 to ask for more documents - which I have sent to you.

So lets please end this - do not make me pay court fees and then for me to take you to court/chase - and please do not make me come to the UK for this hearing.

Should this get sorted quickly, I will be happy to change this review.

Racist council mainly gives…

Racist council mainly gives Bengladeshis the best social housing in all the new blocks close to Canary Wharf. Also allows people to park their cars on pavements blocking pedestrian traffic and there seems to be no traffic wardens. Allows building of structures with non fire proof cladding. I will need to report them to a council regulator as absolutely useless and partly racist.

Lower than rock bottom

I don't quite know how low this service can possibly get. There is no customer service, you can't get through on the phone unless you are willing to wait 30+ minutes on hold. Have no idea who the housing officer is, staff are either rude or have no idea what they are doing. No messages get passed on, anti social behaviour is NOT dealt with, even when reported. The standard of housing and cleaning services are getting worse. You charge for everything but deliver the bare minimum. Nothing changes, tenants are not listened to. Another result of fat cats pocketing money and the rest of us can sing for it. Where else is after rock bottom. Listen up and fix up

Gave parking fine even after valid permit. No customer service. They only want money.

I am a TH resident and park my car on street Residential parking which is paid for a whole year. I changed my reg to a personalised number plate and after 20 minutes I received a parking ticket. I tried to change my new reg details on Tower Hamlets EPermit but there were an error asking me to try later. After challenging parking fine online explaining that My car is has a valid permit to park but its just that I changed my reg to personalised number plate and could not update on Epermit. I received their response on letter only saying *Please pay your penalty charge within 14 days. They do not care about anything, they only want money. They do not care whether you have valid permit or diagnosed with cancer or anything, they only want your money. This world is soo cruel.

The most corrupted council in the…

The most corrupted council in the entire UK. I've had a problem with my landlord and the housing services agreed to represent me in a court to apply for a rent repayment as the landlord did not have a valid HMO license. They withdrew the case after a couple of weeks giving me no reason whatsoever.
Another case is when the local businesses protested against the Truman brothers plan to build a shopping mall, 2 councillors agreed to their plans, but then the corruption case came out as they were apparently bribed to vote for the development.
Money talks in this borough. There are no other values.

Disgusting and rude staff(The Booking team ) housing; Horrible staff very rude and obnoxious , start with Nazmin . SACK Them All. They forgetting they working for people ..Brainless staff
they called yesterday to collect a booking hotel and when I went there after waiting them an hour I took my kids for lunch,
a lady who I met there told me they called my name around 16:30 , and I was back at 16:45 , I keep ask them that someone called me while I was away. They told wait I was in shock what is the big dealer If they give the booking letter and I heard from people Saying If missed your name calling they will make you last or leave you in the at building ;
that was what really happened I was last person all of those rude staff left except the one.

If there was zero I would give them a zero. I was issued with parking ticket on yellow line after 7PM where there was no restrictions visibly displayed nearby. The council website shows you can park up to three hour with a blue badge. I clearly displayed my blue badge but did have clock to display as it was damaged. I wrote to Tower hamlet parking service explaining why the clock was not displayed and I left a note on my dashboard with blue badge. The parking service did not cancel my PCN. Despite providing evidence that I was no longer parked in yellow line for more than an hour they reject my claim.

1 One star 🌟 is too high for Tower Hamlets Homes . From 2016-2022 for 6 years I had water leaking in my kitchen.
Despite hundreds of phone calls to the repair centre and letters they kept missing appointments and then sending the wrong tradespeople and turning up unannounced. Only my intention of legal action for housing disrepair and Doctors medical letters resulted in work beginning to repair the leaks.
They fought against any compensation for my losses to my towels and flooring and skirting . The staff working on the repair call centre telephone Line ☎️ were often abusive banged the phone down , or refused to believe me.
I understand that the public vote result in 2023 was over 86% of residents wanted the property management and repairs service to return to the council.
The neighbourhood officers are also very belligerent and nit pick over the smallest issue even when they are wrong.
They made up false allegations against me that I had cameras on my windows, when they were clearly window alarms and I showed the instructions leaflets. Despite that they threatened legal action over my window alarms that victim support provided. The neighbourhood officers have no customer service skills and treat residents with contempt.

The worst Council I have ever been to

The worst Council I have ever been to.
The response team is the laziest of all and because of that it cost me £400.
I have been trying to talk to someone over the phone every day but no luck. Never get any response from Email either. SACK THEM ALL. What’s the point of having such workers if they are not going to do any work ????

Phone Service Bad

Waited on the phone for 1.5 hours to order a new fob for the entrance door. After all the wait the person who picked up, asked me my post code and then without saying anything, or asking my name or phone number, redirected me to the main menu. So job not done and I am calling agai. When you go to the one stop shop in person they don't allow you to do anything and you need to call to ask for what you want!! Very bad service.

Probably the worst council in London!!!

Wow Tower hamlets council are absolutely useless!!! I’ve been trying to sort out a problem with my council tax for since October last year, I’ve sent numerous emails and made countless calls with absolutely no reply!! The bed thing is when you’re on hold for half an hour only to get cut off!! Terrible, Terrible service!!!!!! Tower hamlets council = total incompetence!

Absolutely shocked still spoke to nikky team leader that was not helpful at all that just said we have to wait. I’m so worried about my door it’s so dangerous and I have a child that doesn’t sleep well because she’s scared of someone coming in to the property. Tower hamlets have failed us. All they keep saying is someone will be in touch and no one ever does. I need answers and help this is neglect !!!!! 11619546/1

Worst . no one giving help about my problem. Just leave the job if you guys can’t help people why you just sitting in the office and having government money for. Move little bit for people help them.

It's shown in small printed and designed
To catch motorist out and regularly does so on daily basis

The parking wadens hide In plain sight
