Toyota was always a reputable company, but that was 20 years ago! Now they are selling cars with Mazda engines and they don't tell the average person. They suck you in where you think you are getting a great deal. You are not. If you want a Mazda, go to a Mazda dealer. Corporate no longer stand behind their dealerships. They do nothing. Think twice before you buy a Toyota and don't let them push you onto the sales floor!!!!!!!!!

Have a 2018 Camry hybrid se. I like the car but the navigation system is worthless it totally sucks. Toyota should be ashamed of putting that type of navigation system in a good car. Since it seems Toyota will not come clean on this problem they created. Either fix the system or compensate owners who have endured this horrific navigation system, this will be my last Toyota.

I love their cars, and they are less expensive than other brands in the market.

Toyota hid some safety defects for 12 years. They thumbed their corporate nose at the US government. I won't buy their products.

BEWARE!!! Do NOT purchase the Toyota 6 speed cars!!!! My 2012 Camry transmission crapped out after only 80000 miles!!! Garbage!!!

Rash developed, all over, which is developing into peeling. This issue is all over the internet for various years of Toyota Yaris, the clearcoat fails leaving a mass ugly problem and Toyota deny any other complaints - liars!
So you buy a car from them new and look after it for several years only to find this common fault and they are so rude and merely point to age. No other brand of car has failing clearcoat, when otherwise car looks fairly new still! It is disgusting and upsetting. Can't afford but don't want full respray as that will looked sprayed! Don't want to sell - but don't want to be left with peeling car either!
As others said on internet they should all have been recalled!

bought a car from Toyota it was 2nd hand ,I asked if the car had ever been damaged they told me no ,,after few weeks notices marks on car took it back asked what they were ..I was told they were marks from ladies cosmetics they cleaned it for me ,,but few weeks later they stared appearing again ,,I took it to a independent garage only to be told because the paint work had been repaired you'll have to fully polish the car but you'll still never get rid of the marks ,,to my amazement I took it back to the garage asked about the car being repaired I was informed it was involved in a slight collision and had been repaired ..as for cash off the car as it was not worth the value I paid they said sorry not are problem ..never by a toyoto

I bought a new RAV 4 and I can say that the car is very good in comparing with price. Only fuel consumption is a little bit high, but I think that it is not a problem.

Current mileage, March 2016 only 27,000. iBought a 2007 Toyota Tacoma P/U truck brand new for $17,000 in November 2006. Within 2 months had to replace leaking main seal between Tranny and Engine; a manufacturing/parts defect. covered by warranty, but still basic drive-train quality leaves doubts. Intermittent vibration while slowing down at around 10mph. Maybe it's anti-lock brakes but I've never received a definitive explanation from Toyota. I have The REAL issue which has turned me against Toyota happened when a control knob on the dash for A/C-Heater fan speed control suddenly cracked. Toyota won't provide a replacement knob. Toyota's solution is to replace the entire climate control panel/module which costs over $650. $600 for a two dollar knob is "highway robbery". I have called the U.S, Toyota Corporate office for complaints and the local dealership where I bought the vehicle,J. Pauley of Fort Smith,Arkansas. The best the local dealer could do was find a replacement panel/module at a local junkyard for $170. I found the same replacement at another junkyard for $62 myself. Still, I won't pay for more than I need. It seems to me that in this whole wide world "global economy" that Toyota could get off their seats and find boxes of knobs stockpiled in some obscure warehouse in on of its third world supplier countries. I simple computer search of Toyotas supply chain would find a replacement. I never thought I would see the day when a Japanese company was lazy. I'll just have to fix it the Arkansas Hillbilly way with a pair of "channel-lock pliers" permanently affixed to the knob stud. What the heck, it's a pick-up truck anyway !!

I bought a Red Toyota IQ 17/12/2009 @ Benfield Leeds It was then botched @ Toyota Brake Recall 2011 After Complaining Jon Moser Toyota "expert" Provided me with the 4 sheet Toyota Spec Drove my car Inspected it And said it was to spec Fraud 130500255641 West Yorkshire Trading Standards Know it is not to spec and suggest suing Continuing Complaints I was called into now Lookers to meet After Sales Manager Geoff Kay Feb 2016, I showed him the fraud document and said if anyone said my car was to spec I would do them for Fraud, one week later along comes Ian Collins another "Expert" from Toyota who took my car away and then said it was to spec. FRAUD NFRC 160101305395. Disgusted with Toyota Staff Paid Good Money £12k for a Good Car, mine was at the top of Spec 1-6mm Depression Before Engaging Brakes and I want if back as I Left it!

I've bought a new Toyota Sienna on 2014 July from Victory Toyota Canton. This was a lemon, I had lots of issue from the second day of purchase. 3rd seat rattling, noise from the passenger door, rust under the van etc etc. Toyota never bothered to address it even after taking the issue up to the President of services. I would never recommend this van unless you are my enemy. Honda Odyssey is much better van.

Toyota is more than good, there are a few manufacturers who can argue such a high level of reliability !

I have owned other Toyotas and never a problem. My Camry has been to the dealer Toyota of Orange on 23 occasions for multiple problems. I had the same brake problems 5 times and they refused to replace my car. I feel it is unsafe. After I file a complaint with the State Attorney, the dealer finally offered to give me retail book value to trade it in.

Disgusting company. They hired some criminals who assaulted me

One night some criminals hired by Toyota Motor Sales in the United States showed up to my house, harassed me and banged on my door in the middle of the night; took my car and physically assaulted me. Toyota said that they had not received payments for the car. Toyota is a company run by criminals. These criminals also stole my personal belongings from the car and they would not give them back to me. I contacted the President of Toyota Motor Sales in the USA, the President and the CEO of Toyota headquarters in Japan and they all could care less as it is their standard practice apparently.
