Disappointment! Bought this tree and now the lights burnt out. I changed fuses, and bulbs it will not lite. Cannot get support.

Update from 5 days ago. Two more strands of lights have gone out since the last review! Simply unbelievable! Best to find another company with better customer service!!

Several years ago we purchased a beautiful tree from Tree Classics. After carelessly storing it, we realized we had snapped a wire. I contacted customer service asking if we could purchase a replacement string, as our tree was no longer under warranty. We received a replacement string, at no cost to us. The customer service was prompt and exemplary. We highly recommend Tree Classics. We will enjoy our beautiful tree for years to come.

"Tree Classics is now partnering with Balsam Hill" so they claim, but the reality is that Balsam Hill and Tree Classics have been part of the same e-commerce Christmas empire owned by Thomas MacMartin Harman II, since Harman purchased the assets of Tree Classics in name only from bankruptcy in 2011. Harman's other holiday brands include Balsam Hill, also 'Treetopia', 'Triumph International Inc.', 'Creative Christmas LLC,', 'Heavenly Holidays, LLC' and 'Christmas Tree Market'. If you're in the market for an e-commerce Christmas Tree or holiday decorations, chances are you're buying from a Harman company.

The Better Business Bureau advises that "This business is not BBB accredited" and that the "Business has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints". Further, the headquarters at "6508 S. 27th St., Oak Creek WI is a UPS store. The "suite" is a rented box." (Balsam Hill has not been able to censor the BBB disclosures.)

Here's how it works: buy one of their Chinese trees and if you're lucky, it works. If like many, you're unlucky, you now get slotted into Balsam Hill's warranty penalty box. Despite that they're still selling new trees, they won't replace your defective tree until the next holiday season when the new shipment of Chinese warranty merchandise arrives for the next year. Pay now and maybe in a year they'll get you a serviceable tree for next Christmas. Meanwhile Balsam Hill has your money and hopefully they're still around to make good for your "warranty" next season. Understand, they aren't a manufacturer, they're a sales company in a seasonal business.

Whether you buy a Chinese tree from Balsam Hill or Tree Classics; it's the exact same run-around customer service from third party temps in Idaho and the Philippines.

Before you buy, understand that you're dealing with an e-commerce empire that peddles questionable quality Chinese product via first-class optimized websites, fulfills from a third party fulfillment company and outsources customer service from a third party.

By the way; the day after Christmas, Harman's companies offer the same products for 65% off, and I can assure you they aren't selling them at a loss. That will give you a good idea of the 'value' you'll receive if you buy at regular price.

I've purchased three trees to date. Nice quality. Like the selection of slimmer trees.
The warm led lights looked nice, did not have a blue hue like most early led lights did. Quick shipping. Ordered one tree on Thanksgiving night and it arrived Saturday moring.

As described. Very large...appears to be made well. Time will tell. Somewhat difficult to handle due to size, even with the wheels.

We bought our 3rd tree from Tree Classics in December. It was a 7ft unlit tree and it was exactly what we wanted for our bedroom. It arrived as promised and once we fluffed out the branches and decorated, it was perfect. The branches were sturdy enough for my heavier ornaments and looked real enough (vs the cheap chopped paper looking versions).
This new tree joins a 9ft and 8ft pre-lit tree bought almost 6years ago. We have always received the service and quality we were promised and remain happy customers to this day.

We have bought our pre-lit tree and garlands from Tree Classics over the years and absolutely love the quality. Customer service is also pleasant to work with.

I ordered the second tree after Christmas to replace one that was 13 years old. We enjoyed the first one all those years but decided it was time to downsize from our 11 foot tree. The new tree is going to be a great replacement with beautiful multi and clear led lights. Both trees were Deluxe Noble Fir but the new one has really been upgraded. Our 11 foot tree has found a new life as it will be used in our homeowners hall at Christmas.

I have purchased products from Tree Classic on a number of occasions. I have purchased trees and garland, and I have always been pleased with the quality of the products and the service.

Haven’t opened the package yet. Purchased for next Christmas. But my previous tree is very nice so I’m sure we’ll be happy.

We bought the Austrian pine wreath and garland. They are really beautiful!!
The batteries seem to last A very long time in the wreath, but less so on the garlands.
Maybe the garlands have many more lights....

purchased it for next year replacing a seven foot tree. I am happy with this purchase but have not opened the box and keep it for storage.

Love, love, love my tree. Exactly what I was looking for as far as size. It is a pencil tree and it fits perfectly where I placed it.

I have enjoyed my tree for 2 years and love the upright tree storage I just purchased. It has saved me the work and back injury when packing and storing my tree - MUCH easier and faster! I do wish that the upright storage bag had locking wheels on the bottom but still love it. Very happy with my purchases from Tree Classics.

I purchased a 9 foot prelit LED tree from Tree Classics. I opened it on arrival in October and all parts looked great. The tree was in good condition and all the lights worked. Upon setting it up in December, the plug on the stand was defective and kept popping out when trying to raise the stand. I had to hold it together with duct tape. After taking it down today I contacted the company and dealt with Monica in customer service and was told they would do NOTHING as there was only a 30 day warranty! What terrible customer service! I spent over $1100.00 and have to deal with this over a cheap defective stand! The tree was everything thing I expected. What a disappointment! I will never deal with this company again and highly recommend anyone looking to buy an artificial tree to remember that service on their product is paramount and theirs is terrible!

Fall 2019 I purchased a 9' Fraser Fir with the color changing LED lights for the 2019 Christmas season. It worked properly when delivered.
When put up for Christmas, the lights on the tree worked for about 6 hours, then died entirely. I notified the company which immediately identified the problem as a "bad transformer".
After three phone calls, the company finally says it will not ship a replacement transformer until July 2020, about 9 months after purchase. Put another way, I must wait 7 months to even test to see if it is really a transformer problem.
So far, Tree Classics has declined to toll the warranty.

After writing to the CEO, Tree Classics has sent an email apologizing but indicating they may not be able to provide any relief until October or November 2020, about a year after the purchase. Which means I will not even be able to see if they are responding until then. Will they even still be in business in November?

I paid $600 for a tree where the lights only lasted 2 seasons. This is brutal. I phoned customer service to tell them, as the lights have a 2 year warranty, and they said they couldn't help because i was 20 days over my warranty. Eventually after a fight they sent me some new lights. I then had to take off all the old lights and string on these new ones. Now that the tree is all decorated another strand has gone out!
This is a product that is only used 1 month of the year!!!!! My last tree was purchased at walmart for under $100 and lasted me 8 years before I gave it away in perfect condition.I purchased this tree because I wanted something taller, but the tree isn't very full and the lights are garbage. Would strongly not recommend.
