Wrong colour delivered
The biggest problem is: I have ordered blue slate but got plum slate instead. When I noticed that it was not the right colour and informed the driver, the driver said he could not take it back and I had to contact the seller. I had no choice but to use it due to the tight work schedule. The second delivery was also the wrong colour ( which I actually hoped for or there would be 2 colours on the slate ground cover).

Thank you for your feedback, though we are very sorry that your order did not meet your expectations. If you had contacted us we could have looked into the matter immediately and resolved the issue for you by replacing any wrong material.
As it is a natural material coming from our own quarries, there can be some slight colour variation and our blue slate can have a "heather" tint to it.

Excellent Service
Excellent service. Very helpful, efficient and prompt. We got the slabs we ordered delivered on time. We needed additional slabs from the quarry and they arrived quickly for our builders to finish the work. Highly recommend this company.

40mm slate 800kg
Stone direct had the product I wanted for a fair price. Delivery was spot on time. Driver was very civil, accommodating, nothing was to much trouble and polite. Chippings so far are perfect not sat on top of a load of dust and crudd.

The samples arrived some 4 weeks ago
The samples arrived some 4 weeks ago, but I still have not had an estimate from the company for the price and lead time for 25 sq metres of heather honed. I have made phone calls and emailed twice.
