Was served by Chris. Very friendly gentleman who helped me find shoes good for me, was plenty patient and cracked loads of jokes. We found a pair of shoes that suit exactly what I need and even in a color scheme I liked. Very happy with the customer service and the purchase.

I was served by an amazing and incredibly knowledgeable lady, Sallyann, she was so helpful in everyway, she brought a different variety of shoes to try on and to get a feel for to find what would suit me best, I tend to have trouble finding to right shoe with the right amount of comfort , stability and support, and when trying shoes on in the store to genuinely wearing them on the road is very different so its nice to use the treadmill to get a genuine feel for each pair and how they work for you, but I walked out with all of the above and a big smile.

To anyone looking for the right advice for everyday trainers, running shoes and trail running shoes whether starting off as a beginner or advanced and looking for a bit of a change ,I highly recommend Up & Running.

Went to the shop in Barnet, I’m relatively new to running and not had my gait analysed before. Went in and they were fantastic- reviewed my gait with me, explained it, and helped me understand what all the different terms mean on running shoes. Picked out some options that they thought would be best for me and I left a happy customer with a spring in my step! Can’t recommend them enough.

Visiting the new store in High Barnet after visiting the York store a few times. And the experience and quality was unmatched as always. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable giving me tips on my gait and helping me make sure my new shoes were the correct ones for me.

I visited the Sheffield store today and the knowledge and advice from the 2 staff was amazing. Both clearly knew there stuff and were quick to advise if something wasn't right on the gait analysis. Both were very friendly and welcoming. Have previously visited the Nottingham store and received good service there too. The stores are clearly managed by runners so are able to tailor advice well.

Went in with very specific needs - Christopher was ace and spent time helping me think about what was right for me and very patient with the number of shoes I tried and my deliberations! Great to support my local shop - and in the long run, when you factor in return and delivery fees was probably the same if not cheaper than online purchases plus a lot less faff and much better service. Will be back for my next pair :)

Excellent experience at Up & Running. I went in for running and trail shoes and the service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. One member of staff (whose name I didn’t catch) was excellent, and Fraser in particular went above and beyond. I felt listened to and never rushed, and I left with shoes that are perfect for my needs. Highly recommended for anyone serious about running or trail shoes.

Nipped in for a new pair of daily running shoes. I had a few pairs in mind and Sallyann was great, spoke through things and what I wanted with goals. Got to try on and get a a gait analysis (which was really insightful) and managed to get a great pair of new running shoes.
They were super busy but they managed it well and gave me the time to discuss with them whilst juggling another customer.

Yvette in the Bristol shop was amazing. She kept the shop open past closing time to make sure I got the best possible pair of running shoes at the best possible price. She brought out so many different combinations of length, width, colour, price my mind boggles but hers didn’t. She was patient and knowledgeable. She listened to what I said and took it into account. I couldn’t recommend her and tge shop highly enough.
