Avoid Veer at all costs. You may want to overlook the bad reviews as we did when we booked with Veer but I urge you not to. They will promise you the world but take your money and run. Whilst the food at our wedding was very well received it was not worth everything we have experienced with this company. Truly dreadful. Refer to the thisismoney article about them which tells you everything you need to know about Paul.

Veer have replied to this review asking me to put my name and event as they think this is a fake review. I wish you replied back to me this quickly following the emails I have sent confirming we were taking you to court, the fact the court have ruled you owe us our money back and that you still haven't paid. Event is One Whitehall Place 15th August. Would be keen to see what you reply back with next. This is definitely not a fake review. Just pay us back what we are owed.

My son Aadam had his wedding reception on the 24th of July at Hilton Bankside.Veer catering delivered exactly as promised.In all honesty,because we had three different cuisines,Lebanese Thai and Indian, I was a little concerned with the quality of each dish as we has around thirty two in total!The food was outstanding the service also matched!
We went for three food tasting sessions and they were very accommodating each time giving us undivided attention and carefully listening to our comments.Indi,who managed the event for us is extremely helpful and competent and is a credit to Veer.Whenever I emailed with a query or concern,she would come back to me promptly.I felt completely reassured on the day too with Paul Luther being there and checking that everything was on schedule.All our guests commented on the quality of the food and the variety of dishes.There wasn't a single dish that was below par!Thank you,Paul and Indi for making Aadam's event extra special!

I’ve just had a call from Paul Luther the Director of this company asking me to put up a positive review of Veer as there have been people trolling online for no other reason that I can think of other than boredom and pettiness claiming that Veer “ruined my event” and such things.
I had my wedding at Celtic Manor with Veer Events a few years back (call the venue and verify this if you wish) and Anji & Paul absolutely smashed it. The food was perfect, hot and tasty - the waiters and waitresses did an incredible job and the event managers were superb.
I really don’t understand why there are people who have never even had an event with Veer Events commenting and reviewing the company.
All of these fake reviews need to stop!! How sad is it that Paul’s having to call around to his masses of highly satisfied clients to write REAL reviews?

Anyway, Paul & Anji - you’re amazing. Your team is amazing. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done and can’t wait to see you for our anniversary party!

Thinking of this company when for your wedding?
I strongly recommend you don’t! Hands down the most unprofessional company i have had displeasure of dealing with. The owner will sell you a pack of lies and His assistant will cover up his tracks. Food is well below standard and is well over priced. They will take your money and will go back on everything that they have promised

It’s been more than 2 years since our wedding reception and what was to be an incredible day turned out to be an absolute disaster thanks to veer and their level of service on the day. I’ve never written on any of these reviews before but constantly find myself visiting to see if others have experienced what we had gone through or if ours was just unfortunately a one off and we were the unlucky ones. Either way, we’re still not over it and possibly never will be. Having read Neil Shahs review, I felt inspired to write on here however prefer to remain anonymous as still ashamed for the events of the day in case one of our guests happened to read this. Many of our guests still talk about it and We’re reminded all the time how wrong I got it by trusting veer. As many other reviews point out, they promise you the world but once that deposit is paid you are at their mercy and you realise what your then up against. Many broken promises which adds a layer of stress and anxiety to the process as your left not knowing what you will get on your day. I’d like to list out all the issues we faced but instead leave it at the fundamentals which is there poor management of the lead up (only after paying deposit as before that they give you all the time in the world), broken promises and there quality of food and level of service on the day. Their presentation is good however as a small token but the quality of the food and the delivery of the service is terrible on the day it matters most. I actually had a slight panic attack on the day thinking they have not turned up as they wouldn’t answer any of my calls. The office was shut and I left countless voicemails including on Paul’s mobile to whom I never actually met as was dealing with his team instead. I only eased after ringing the venue to see if they have arrived. What was clear to me is that They cannot cope with large numbers and maybe more suited for small weddings but on the day itself, it’s like there doing this for the first time. Also What you get led to believe on food tasting and what you get on the day is worlds apart. Two of our dishes were off on the wedding day which is an absolute no no in this business however it happened on ours. The event manager even confessed this to me after the event as many had complained. Told me even he wouldn’t have had the dish. It’s extraordinary. I had not taken it any further as what’s the point. There aftercare is possibly even worse as pointed out by other reviews but more importantly, I’ve lost the value of the day and if I was to pursue an apology, an acknowledgement or a refund then what value does it have given the damage is already done on the grandest stage of all and can’t be undone. I will forever live with the regret of choosing them but that’s on me. However do yourself a favour, if you are considering them, don’t. This company gives caterers and event planners a bad reputation. There are far more Professional, Value for money and more to the point, companies that are honest and care out there that will not put you through what veer put us through. Out of all the components of a wedding reception, the catering was One of the most important even if it was by far the most expensive. One that our guests will leave remembering. Don’t let veer ruin your day or stain your memories. It’s heartbreaking and upsetting as it’s a day you will never get back.

Nobody does meaner Punjabi currys than them. From spicy canapes to colourful mocktails to planning for the function. They are always so helpful. 10/10 will recommend

Shame that I couldn't write this review in November but they have organised one of the best Turkish cuisines for my evening reception. The hospitality lounge was fantastic and the complimentaty food tasting helped me and my fiance a lot to make the decision. Hope we can visit you again soon for your fusion style canapes. Great traditional punjabi food done right. Quirky innovations on street food were delightful.

Words cannot describe the amount of help I received from Veer Events for my functions them last year. Perfect mixture of professionalism and friendliness. Food is always great and the presentation is even better.

Food tasting option is just fantastic!

They sell you the dream and take the money for that but the end service is embarrassing. Our final food tasting was horrible and we raised our concerns, they invited us to return and ensured things would be marinated and better. They claimed that as only a small amount was made the taste wasn’t good before. We had no choice but to put our trust in them as they presented much better on the second occasion. The actual night was worse or equally as bad as the horrible food tasting. Oil in the dishes and food tasted NOTHING like what we selected. - currently have emailed veer. Veer events are to put it simply an absolute disgrace and a complete disappointment.
This company and especially the owner will go to any lengths to take your money. It’s shocking how a company conducts its business in such a dishonest and unethical manner. The owner should be ashamed of himself.
I’d strongly advise customers not to use Veer Events and venues not to affiliate themselves with this caterer.
I would like to share the a few of the many problems Veer subjected us to so others are made aware and hopefully do not experience the troubles and stress we did. If you are unfortunate like us and have signed already I’d be more then happy to talk you through every problem Veer Events caused us and make you aware of all the owners sly underhanded tactics to squeeze that little more of your hard earned money from you.
Veer Events did not serve the main course we ordered for our reception meal.
It’s very disappointing that our caterer Veer Events could not even serve the menu agreed and with the same standards as per our food tasting.
The lamb nargis kofta was sold to us as a scotch egg curry at the food tasting and then served as scrambled eggs and kofta balls at the event, making the dish totally different.

The explanations we received were ….

Director of operations- “Having spoken with our chef’s …. As the dishes are cooked in bulk, they would differ somewhat to what has been tried (at the food tasting).”

(Owner) - “Neil you keeping forgetting we did serve nargis kofta, only difference was the egg was more grinded via the chef. However, it was meat kofta with egg, so please understand we did serve the dish, it’s not like we didn’t served any meat kofta.”

How the owner deems this acceptable is shocking. He really should not be in the catering industry. Before even considering hiring Veer please be aware of their ideas of acceptable service.

Second major issue.

Veer offered us a drinks package which we decided to use for the evening reception. The owner called my father in law 3 days before the event and increased the charge. He threatened that if this was not agreed they wouldn’t provide the service. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to accept due to the short notice.

Veer did not serve the soft drinks we had personally purchased at lunch time and we were later informed that our drinks were then used by Veer staff during the evening event, which we had purchased the drinks package for. I really could not believe the level that this company will go to. It’s shameful.

I requested compensation and after 7 months they haven’t made us an acceptable offer and looks like we’ll never get one.

I was extremely disappointed when Veer offered us a refund, dishonestly claiming they charged us £1.40 per head for the incorrectly served main course. I later found at that they charged us £4 per head.
It’s truly upsetting that Veer and the owner could be so dishonest. This company and its staff lack any integrity and have no credibility.

I’ve been trying to contact the owner with regards to this issue for 7 months and he has avoided all my calls. He talks the talk, takes your money, fails to deliver then avoids all responsibility for ruining what should have been our happiest day.
