Verty Furniture Avis 

I recently bought the Marble dining table from Verty and I'm really happy with it. The selection was great, and the ordering process was easy. The table arrived quickly, was simple to assemble, and looks fantastic in my dining room. It's comfortable and well-made. I highly recommend Verty for stylish and affordable furniture!

I've ordered from Verty a unique wood bedside table. Product is exactly like it is showing on the website. Very good quality, beautiful colour and well packed. Delivery was prompt and got regular updates about it. People around me always asking me where I got this item from! Verty got very nice range of furniture on their website. Definitely will order again from them.

Recently purchased a tv stand from this company as I love the combination of black metal and real wood. Delivered in a week and looks great in my lounge !! Was a bit nervous when I saw the reviews until I realised that most were from the same people who left a lot of negative reviews for other places too. My experience was that they did “what it said on the tin” ☺️

Wish I read the reviews before ordering from this company. Dishonest, incompetent and worst customer service ever. Similar experience to others, no response to emails but a very quick response when I raised a dispute with my bank. Yet Verty’s response wasn’t worth anything. Stay clear, go to Dunelm!

Still no refund over 2 weeks later!

No reply to emails. Utter liar's and frauds. It's in written proof regarding the refund too.

Please pleass do read the honest reviews on here to gather what this company is actually like.

Lovely made furniture fits perfectly in our living room. Very pleased!

Extremely poor customer service. Full of false promises too.

Look at alternative companies other than Verty.

Absolutely awful customer service. They don't understand UK Trading Standards Laws and Legislation regarding returns/refunds.

Purchased through Debenhams and was told to contact these directly for return/refund quieries.

I tried cancelling delivery days before it was delivered as I no longer needed it.

When speaking with the customer service agent, he said that I had already pre accepted delivery over the phone (which I didn't) and said it was recorded conversation so he has proof, so I called his bluff and asked for a copy of the conversation log as that is breach of GDPR legislation not notifying of calling he then denied it and said that he can't share it because of GDPR... go figure!

Absolutely avoid useless team.

I ordered a large sideboard through Homebase / Wilko's which Indian hub / Verity delivered damaged and apparently that's the rustic look of the furniture.

It's a shame I can't upload photos of the scratches and dents where the paint has come off for you to see for yourself.

I have loads of other rustic solid wood furniture so I know the difference between rustic and scratched and dented.

The item weighing over 9 stones and is really bulky was delivered by one person. As soon as it was delivered I took the packing off and saw damage and phoned Indian hub / Verity straight away but they refused to send the driver back to collect it as he had other deliveries to do.

They have contacted me today via Wilko's and offered to collect it if I repackage. I can't physically package this up myself as I can't move it, it's that heavy.

I've informed them I will keep it as I do think it can be made good by sanding the scratches and repainting where the black has come off the metal. However I'm unhappy about it.

Dealing with this company has been a really stressful experience.

Purchased x4 Wollaston Real Distress Leather Dining Chairs for £518 through debenhams but under verty furniture which arrived in an appalling state!
Now having a real ordeal getting my refund after having your courier collect the chairs but giving me no return tracking and now avoiding my e-mails.
Have resulted going through my bank to try retrieve my money but debenhams have intercepted my attempt at getting my money back through my bank saying it was delivered. Yes it was delivered and also returned under your courier that you arranged! May I add this was returned on the 20th January. Where is my money???

Beautiful furniture at what cost?

I'm still anxious from the whole experience. The furniture I received is lovely but not entirely as described on the website but because of the way customer service operates, I would rather keep what I have than go through anything else. Please avoid this company especially if you deal with anxiety as I do because I am struggling more as a result of the whole experience with vertyfurniture.co.uk.

I wish I had read the negative reviews before purchasing but the positive is that I've learned I will never buy from this company or stores I have not been to see the furniture again.

If a customer rep reads this, please get yourself another job because I'm pretty sure you can't be happy in this type of environment not being able to call customers back and dealing with disappointed people whilst having to remain friendly and positive. It's not good for anyone. I'm sure the promises to phone back were genuine but never happened which is stressful for customers and reps. Management need to sort this as their company will not survive unhappy customers and staff....

I appreciated the friendliness of two members of staff in the company as it can't be easy working under those conditions.

Ordered two dining benches and the prices were so much more reasonable than anywhere else I looked. The delivery said between 7-10 days which I was happy to wait for but I received a call from a very friendly lady telling me that a delivery slot had become available for the next day (only 2 days after I had ordered them) and if it would be OK to deliver then. The items were packaged really well and they were so easy to put together, the benches are really good quality and look so nice with my table! I have already recommended verty furniture to my friends and family and will continue to do so! Should I need any furniture in the future this will be the first place I go to!
