Pet emergencies can happen at any time – including when your regular vet is closed.
That’s why our nationwide network of out-of-hours pet emergency clinics are open through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, so we’re ready and waiting to provide expert pet emergency care when your regular vet is having some time off.
Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. We also support the pet blood transfusion charity, Pet Blood Bank UK. Meanwhile, our two hospitals — in Glasgow and Manchester — are home to some of the UK’s leading specialists in the field of emergency and critical care and provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

One of my hardest days seeing my dog trying to breathe but struggling and getting weaker. I want to say a big thank you to the staff at Wolverhampton one. As soon as I ran in the door Lance stopped all what he was doing ran to me and grabbed the dog and ran through to the vets and nurses. They were all so kind and polite explained all that was going on. They were there supporting us to the end making sure my fur baby was comfortable when she passed. I can’t remember the vet’s name she was a lovely lady and wanted the best for me and the dog. And Lance the receptionist thank you for everything thing you did for us. Thank you to you all at Wolverhampton Vetsnow.

Yesterday I had to use Vetsnow Wolverhampton for an emergency for a cat I was looking after whilst the owner was abroad.
The vet I saw was called Grace and her level of knowledge, care and compassion was exceptional.
She explained everything step by to step to me and then to the owner on the telephone.
Unfortunately the poorly cat had to be put to sleep. I want to reach out on here to praise Grace for the level of care we received yesterday ❤️

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING! Please AVOID at all COST!. 3 of my puppies died over 3 days due to parvovirus. I had to sit and watch them die feeling helpless and guilty because i didnt have the thousands being asked to treat them!. I spent all weekend rings RSPCA / Blue Cross / Dog Sanctuary's & Dogs Trust trying to help these puppies. Vets now could of treated them & saved their lives allowing me to pay after but they refused! The vet i spoke to didnt care, Just wanted to talk money. She even told me that without treatment they would die!.... How the hell do these people care about animals when they are letting them die??.
Do not reply asking me to send my concerns to your practice for investigation because that isn't going to bring my puppies back! ITS TOO LATE i just want people to think twice before using your vets!

These vets do not care!. Took my 9 week old puppy here who had parvovirus to be treated (Friday Night) took from 12am - 4am to be tested and tell us how much treatment would cost. So the treatment was going to cost thousands and they would only offer credit upto £1000 which wouldnt be enough treatment. We practically begged that we could pay £500 per month just please treat him to be told "No". I said to the Vet "So as a Vet who are SUPPOSE to love & care for animals and can treat this puppy because we havent got the funds up front your willing to let him die?" She shrugged her shoulders. We left the vets 4am Saturday morning & puppy passed away Monday night ALL THANKS TO VETS NOW!.
DO NOT send me your patronising replies of how to email my concern to "Blah Blah Blah" its too late!

We had to seek emergency treatment for our cat who had post surgical complications and I cannot fault the care vets now provided us. They were happy to answer the phone and give detailed updates as well as making sure our cat got everything he needed. We are so grateful to the whole team but especially vet Ellie who was fabulous.

It's never going to be a great experience having to seek emergency care for your much loved pet and it's incredibly costly.
Staff were very attentive, thorough and kind and took plenty of time to discuss and explain the options and costs involved.

Despite several telephone calls advising the practice that our beloved girl has passed away we are still receiving emails and telephone calls reminding us her vaccination / check ups are overdue.
It’s very sad to see how a practice that was once the flagship of Wolverhampton has deteriorated to a money making machine with no personal care and appalling administration
… and to add I have now received a response to this post saying I have written to the wrong business … says it all!
Please avoid and seek a professional independent vet who takes pride in caring for yours and your beloved pets welfare.

From when we took our very poorly boy into George's Wolverhampton the service was amazing. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The locum Vet Edwina was incredible and reassuring. She helped us understand what was going on and did everything she could do for our dog, keeping him in overnight. I can't thank them enough

I spoke to someone on the phone and was told a certain price I came in and was told a different price which was way more. I explained it to one of the staff and she tried to say in arguing with her when I wasn’t I was trying to get my point across and understand where such a high payment was coming from

Communication throughout was poor, my pet was taken off me on arrival, it was half an hour before we were informed they were giving him something for the pain and someone would be with us soon. It was over an hour before anything further was communicated. The employee who came to discuss my pets case didnt introduce themselves, no indication of whether the employee was a vet / nurse etc no name provided.
Originally told over the phone that I wouldn't be able to put the claim through my insurance, when I asked at the practice I was told it can be done, luckily I had my details with me.
Call centre need assistance with details regarding insurance rather than telling people it cannot go through insurance as this will put most people off as OOH is expensive.

Communication was poor, my pet was taken off me as soon as I arrived, half an hour later we were informed he'd been given pain meds and someone would be with us soon. It was over an hour before we were told anything more. The member of staff that came to discuss my animals case didn't introduce themselves. No idea who they were or whether a vet / nurse etc.
My pet wasn't examined with me present (not always possible I understand).

The Vet was appalling! It was like I was on a conveyor belt! Didn’t listen to me, started examining her head so I had to say the cut is on her paw !! The vet never looked at her paw but asked a nurse to come into the room to look at the paw. There were other things but simply the worst vet I have ever seen !!!

I would rate -20 if I had the opportunity to do so .
My Maltese dog went into there on a Friday night , the vet who looked after her through the night (Grace) was fantastic .
Received a call the following morning very optimistic .
Received a call from an Italian vet around 3pm in the afternoon , could not understand a word she was saying .. my precious dog passed away by 3:10 with no one with her as I was not allowed ..
A written complaint was submitted , there complaints procedure should take no longer than 35 days ( their Policy) 6 weeks later and still no answers … my other dogs will be taken to the willows for any emergency care in future … Bernie are very very over priced for and extremely poor service

Found the premises easily enough and was seen promptly by the vet.
Explained symptoms (diahorea - upset stomach) and, as this is a common occurrence for our dog, explained what our vet normally recommends and prescribes.
The vet listened and examined our dog, then prescribed a probiotic paste, explaining that if symptoms deteriorated to call back.
However, the vet also recommended adding carrot and broccoli to our dogs diet, along with the boiled potatoes and fish that we were already giving.
We started this, adding a small amount of carrot on the lunchtime portion and a small amount of broccoli to the evening portion (small but often portions). Then, from midnight until 3.00 am our dog had severe vomiting and diahorea, with the 'carrot' and 'broccoli' making an appearance.
We feel that, in hindsight, we should have stuck to the potato and fish that our vets always recommends in this situation and ignored the suggestion of carrot and broccoli, as this was obviously too much on an already inflamed stomach. From Monday onwards, this is what we have done and as of today, he has recovered.
