After recently being given false…
After recently being given false information by a Vodafone call handler, directing me to cancel a direct debit which led to me being chased by a debt company and almost having my phone disconnected!
I went to Vodafone in the Darlington store to have this rectified. I was greeted by Jay who was very professional and re assuring throughout my experience, he re assured me he would take this complaint seriously and contact the relevant people to handle this.
Jay listened to my circumstances and how this has effected me getting a mortgage and he took a very non judgemental approach which made me feel able to speak freely about how much this is going to effect my future.
My complaint has been taking very seriously and it is already in the process of being dealt with.
Although I have had a bad experience with Vodafone, I feel like my experience yesterday has rectified how negative I feel.
Thank you Jay for all of your help, I really appreciate it. You are a credit to Vodafone.

Helpful attitude of staff,paricularly Kitsana who took a lot of time to find out exactly what we wanted, and then found the best possible deal for us.

Check that your phone has been credited correctly.
Efficient, helpful and friendly is how I would describe Dan, the guy who served me in Darlington. I requested that he add £10 credit on PAYGO 1 to my phone. He confirmed that I understood how PAYGO 1 works and then credited it to my phone.
Later that day I discovered that Vodafone had actually added a bundle which would expire in a months’ time.
I contacted Live-chat and the error was corrected by Erik.
All's well the ends well.

Disgusting customer service and overpriced awful internet…
I moved house end of December and decided I no longer needed my 4g internet from Vodafone which was 6 months out of contract. I handed in the 30 days notice and was paid up to date. Roll on 6 months and I notice my credit rating dropped by 250 points, upon investigation I find out Vodafone have put a default on my once completely clear credit file absolutely destroying my credit rating. When I spoke to the extremely unhelpful customer services I opened a complaint which they deadlocked within 2 conversations with 0 help. I asked how they contacted me and they advised by letter, how or why in this day and age is contact made purely by letter and its not a good contact method when the majority of people leave providers when they move! Not a single email or phone call to advise a bill or a debt despite up to date phone number and email address on there system. For a lousy £75 I wouldn't risk my credit rating for 6 years. I'm taking it to the ombudsman as I think its ridiculous they didn't try to contact me any other way other than letter. Overpriced awful 4g internet provider And they have now ruined my credit file for 6 years.

They're an independent company who will work with yourself and us to find a suitable resolution to your complaint. I'm sorry your issues reached this point, as I'm sure we'd be able to work this out with you. But once a complaint's been escalated to the level you've advised, we're unable to intervene here.
