Misleading 5G Coverage – Signal Is Practically Useless in NN8 2PZ
Vodafone claims that 5G is available in my area (NN8 2PZ), but the actual signal performance tells a different story.
I’ve tested the speeds in multiple nearby postcodes and got reasonable results (for example, 48 to 55 Mbps in NN8 1HX, 1HH, and 1EY). However, in NN8 2PZ, I’m getting speeds as low as 10 Mbps, despite my phone showing a 5G connection.
It feels like a 5G signal is being advertised just to tick a box, but in reality it is practically unusable where I need it most. This is misleading and very frustrating, especially when I chose Vodafone based on their advertised coverage.
Also note: Vodafone support has told me there is no 5G coverage in my area. This further proves how misleading the signal indicator is and raises questions about the accuracy of their advertised coverage.

Rush was very helpful
Rush was very helpful. We had a few problems with regards to a recent change of address but everything was explained and checks needed to be carried out. The next day we received a call as the checks were all done and we returned to the store to complete the formalities and collect our new phones. Very pleased with the service.
