An excellent experience at half the cost of an airport rental. Very helpful and friendly staff, a great car and an overall easy way to hire. Wouldn't hesitate to use Heritage VW at Bristol again.

First rate service - friendly staff who could not have been more helpful. It was a pleasure to visit a dealership where everyone seemed happy and professional.

Brilliant customer services
The bristol branch have been amazing and was a great car to drive the polo and would recommend anyone to use them. John treats you more like a person and cheaper than this big name rental companies and they treat you as a number.

Booked a car from their website and was provided the exact car unlike other rental companies who only provide any vehicle in that category. Very friendly staff and John made the whole process very easy and very quick.

Thoroughly impressed with the experience of hiring a Luton van for a house move. John Lawry was professional and friendly, taking time to explain the controls of the van and tail lift. Return of the van was easy.
The van itself was basically brand new with only 900 miles on the clock, very comfortable and nice to drive too. The hire price was very similar to other, smaller (less reputable) rental firms and I would happily pay a bit more for the service we received.
I would absolutely come back again for future car/van rentals.

As always easy and great service. Lovely Golf (great to get the actual car you hire) and over £200 cheaper then Europcar (I'm an exec member there and they could not guarantee what car I would get). A key drop would be useful.

My wife and I needed a van to move house and after a bad experience at another well known Bristol hire centre, we thought we would try VW.
I am so glad we did! What a relief to find such brilliant customer service! From the moment we walked into the showroom and met John, we knew already we had made the right choice. John asked us questions about what we needed the vehicle for, how much were we thinking of moving etc. From this John was able to recommend the size van we needed. John made the hire process so easy. From the moment we picked up the van, till the moment we dropped it back. We felt that we had a service personal to us.
If we ever need to hire a van again, I know where we will be going.

Great rental experience super simple website and amazing prices

Wished to hire a van for the first time in several years but after reading several reviews from the mainstream hire outlets I was not looking forward to it. I came across VWFS and felt that being a more professional company, they would be my best option. Although booking was On-Line only (not my preferred way to hire) the whole experience was very straightforward and I found the pricing to be very competitive. Vehicle collection was also very straightforward and everything was clearly explained. The vehicle was as described Fairly New, Clean and in good condition. On return the vehicle was checked, my deposit was returned as promised a couple of days later. I personally would prefer to have a checking out / in system where all relevant damage was recorded and signed out by the hirer. However, after reading hire company reviews it appears things are done differently these days. All in All I cannot fault VWFS and I will make them my first point of call for any future hires, I have also, and will continue to recommend them.

Excellent service, much better value than the mainstream national rental companies.

From the minute I stepped foot in the receptionist was very happy and easy to talk to, I then went on to speak to the manager of car rentals who was real chatty and made everything comfortable, someone who took a genuine interest in their custom.
The car rented was well looked after and nice and clean which shoes abit of pride in what they have to offer

Our second hire. This time an ID-3. Easy hiring process, John is a joy to deal with. Cost was good and being able to hire a fully electric car at a price lower than a normal car. GREAT
