Booking process and service is top notch as always. Colin is ever ready to help you with every little detail you need. The whole process from start to end was smooth. They are also flexible if you want to slightly amend the pickup and drop off times which is great I believe.

Apart from it's location in Hedge End, which is quite far from Southampton main area, I think VWFS rent-a-car is the best in service and the cheapest rental company in the area.

The whole experience from start to handing the hire vehicle back was exemplary.
Colin is an excellent ambassador for Peter Cooper at Hedge End and his communication and attention to detail is second to none.

We rent from VWFS Hedge End every year. Always excellent service, far superior to mainstream rental companies. You get the car you want and normally cheaper than the large rental firms. Especially when you add in the extras. On top you get a much more personal service.

Excellent service & value for money at a very short notice.

The only downside is the £1000 deposit requirement, I believe this would be lower if you opted for extra insurance coverage on top of the basic requirements.

Hired a car for a week - booking, collection and the vehicle itself was all great. Unfortunately let down by the vehicle return. They weren’t set up for me delivering the car back half an hour before the 4pm I was allowed to keep it until, this combined with the fact that the original paperwork couldn’t be located meant I was left standing around for over 20 minutes.

Customer service here is top. Friendly, relaxed and efficient. The gentleman who works at the Kia location doing this deserves a big raise, he’s consistently above and beyond when I’ve rented here.

Car was great, just what I needed for the weeks hire.

Really easy to use, positive experience, and reasonably priced. Very friendly and helpful service in particular from the gentleman who helped me on site, his customer service and approach was the real differentiator which made this a 5* experience, something which these days is sadly unsual. I'd recommend him, and VWFS!

I rent from VWFS every time I am in the UK as they are reliable and cost effective, great service and of course love their cars.

This is my goto rental company. I don't even compare anyone else with this because no one can match the service these guys provide (I have tried other rental companies before). The cars are almost brand new every time and the best part is that you get the exact car you book. It’s not like other companies which say “or similar”. If you book a Golf, you will get a golf!

Other than that, the people are super helpful. It is quick and easy. Completely hassle free. Colin has always been super friendly and very helpful.
