Fantastic service, I highly recommend waggel, paid out on a large sum within 3 weeks of opening the claim.

I honestly cannot recommend Waggel enough.
My cat recently had to undergo urgent surgery for mammary tumours, and during one of the most stressful times of my life, Waggel made the entire process so much easier. They reviewed and approved the pre-authorisation quickly, clearly explained the costs, and covered the majority of the treatment without any hassle.
Knowing that I didn’t have to worry about finances meant I could focus entirely on my cat’s care and recovery, which is priceless.
Their communication was clear, supportive, and professional throughout. You never realise how important good pet insurance is until you truly need it and Waggel delivered exactly when it mattered most.
I’m beyond grateful and would recommend them to any pet owner without hesitation.
Fair and compasionate
Waggel have been very fair and compasionate over a couple of claims for our old dog. Settlement of the claim was handled very quickly.
Sadly, the last one was for a condition that ended Django's life.
I also used their online vet consultation service a couple of times which we found useful and reassuring.

Disappointing
Well. Finally that's sorted. Thanks to the ombudsman.
My dog (11) got diagnosed with an eye condition last Aug after a pretty nasty infection that he had to see his usual vet for who then referred us to a specialist. The bill was a little over 2k - not huge but that's why we pay for insurance?. On approaching waggle they initially refused to pay for his treatment because when looking through his lifespan of notes they found "gunky eye" in 2014 and 2016.
On appeal with the support of the specialist vet they finally paid out the initial costs.
During the same episode, my dog was put on antibiotics which made him very sick and lost a lot of weight - Waggle treated this as a separate episode and charged me twice for the excess (£250).
When trying to discuss this payment with the Waggel team I asked them to hold off paying me until I had spoken to my vet to clear things up (as I knew it would be a nightmare to challenge), they reassured me on the phone they would wait and then paid me the £1 I was "entitled" to anyway.
Fought this with the ombudsman - got my money back but more importantly my dog doesn't have "another condition" on his record due to their penny pinching.
Avoid.

I had to make a claim in very upsetting circumstances the claim was handled very efficiently and promptly by Waggel they have been excellent insurers and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
Waggle easy clame.
The whole process with waggel was a breeze. So easy to make a clame through the app and was handed swiftly. I would 100% recommend.

Straight forward and stress free
My dog had lots of smallish bills from the vet for the same condition over a period of time. I paid each one as we were going along but realised that they amount was building up. Once she was well I put in a claim fro the medicines that she had had... in hope more than expectation. Waggel paid with no hassel at all... minus the excess (which is quite big because of her age). The whole process was very straight forward and stress free.

They then did my boys final claim with me so nothing could go wrong. I also received a condolence card which is just lovely. Really shows they care about our animals.
