The packets are now 22g - about 3 crisps. Won’t be buying again.

Nearly every bag I get they seem soggy/stale and not even crispy now. Not a random puncture/event, like 9/10 packs. Salt and Vinegar tastes weird now and weak, Ready Salted taste bland AF, and worse, Salt and Shake now use clear/white plastic sachets that is like playing Where's Wally every pack and when you do find it just leads to clumped up damp salt as well. WTF went wrong?

Horrible crisps, extremely overpriced, they fill less than a quarter of the packet so you only get around 10 crisps. Evil company, don't buy their crisps.

What on earth is going on with walkers crisps , I used to eat at least 10 packs per day now i wouldn't thank you for a packet , they taste stale and look terrible but that is only due to one thing the oils they are blending , which is highly obvious very very cheap , if you use cheap oils your crisps don't cook properly hence the stale taste.
Do something with your product Walkers your crisps taste terrible.

Poor quality product it used to be it was potato salt and oil now it tons of different chemicals preservatives and as for the prawn cocktail flavour wow not what it used to be totally not into it anymore so bye-bye Walkers won’t be buying your product until you go back to the old recipe, which means you’ll never ever do it

Ive recently purchased a number of 6 packs of the Walkers Squares and they are without doubt th worst they have ever been.  Most of my single packets have been soft, soggy or cardboard hard, they are totally inedible.. my kids also had this too. Brand new in date packs of crisps that open up soft and soggy,absolutely not on at all. Also seen many complaints on Facebook about these crisps right now, your attention needs to be focused on these crisps, I have a bag here you can see for yourself if you want them sent, they are in date, bag was Air sealed and opened to be in that condition. Absolutely not on, I've tried to return to Tesco but didn't keep by receipt as never really do.  

These Squares need fully addressing they are disgusting and won't be buying your Walkers of any kind unless you at least look into this matter

I received an email 21/7/2026, regarding 'Doritos chili Heatwave' crisps I purchased from TESCO online it was from Walkers saying they are recalling the above product, my sister, her son, and myself ate them! her son went to Ibiza with his friends and we were worried sick as it had milk traces, A gentleman 'Connor' contacted me via email 'pepsico' we had to wait for hours to find out if my nephew was well, as he had went to the beach with his friends! the company have not even had the decency to reply and compensate us!, We are going to take this matter further as I will not suffer fools gladly and I suffer from severe mental health and this has been detrimental to my health and my sister, we are fortunate that my nephew is fine as he gave the crisps to his friends! this could have turned out a terrible tragedy! I suggest the company gets in touch with me ASAP!

I used to love walkers crisps the quality was always very high, with flavour always staying the same, over the last few years I have recieved many packets with burnt crisps and whole packets that have been unedible. Sadly there is not sufficent quality competition at a reasonable price to give Walker any reason to improve and they know it. It seems that averice and greed have throttle quality to the point of almost non exsistence. Never buy the multipacks which seem the most affected, one would almost think they packaged the substandard crisps this way, it as always been my experience if you buy a six pack all the crisps will be of the same sub standard quality. You do at least stand a good chance of getting reasoonable quality with single bags.

Growing up in the 70s and 80s Walkers were by far my favourite crisps. Today I avoid them at all costs. So what went wrong? I don't have all the answers, but it's clear that the takeover by PepsiCo of a successful family business is the biggest contributor. It's an all too familiar story of a giant US multinational destroying the unique taste of a product to cut costs and streamline production.

A case in point: it seems most Walkers crisps today are cooked in rapeseed oil. It's cheaper to source but ruins the taste, crunch and freshness of the crisp, leaving an oily residue.

Walkers crisps were still good until about twenty five years ago. That's when the real decline began. Hero to zero in one generation. A great British tragedy.

Roast Beef Slowed Cooked Beef Crisps. How utterly disgusting 🤮 There is absolutely no hint of beef just masses of sugar for the taste buds! Very unpleasant! Definitely not worth buying. At least McCoy's give a hint of taste. Don't even bother with these, they're disgusting and don't bother with the McCoy's either because they're just as nasty. They're not like they used to be - revolting! 🤢Be interesting to see if Walker's provide a response to their clearly cheaply made crisps. They should be ashamed!

Overpriced tasteless horrible crisps,walkers trying to improve profits by reducing flavor and quality you clowns have just lost another customer.

The prices are despicable for a walkers packet crisp. I don't purchase them anymore the quality is just not what it used some of the crisp ar rock hard:(

Walkers ready salted. What have you done to ruin a decent bag of crisps.
Definitely changed, now more greasy, seem thinner and too crispy.
I would suggest you reverted to a proven formula.
I can never understand companies changing a formula that has worked for decades.

And don't dare say it's not changed

what have you done to make more profit
the tastes of the flavours has dropped and the quality of potato plus the oil used has changed to low quality. crisps have got harder firmer and hard to chew
price has gone up and bags seem to get smaller over time. are you taking the public for total idiots. if you return to the old times i would not mind paying more

Wasted nearly £4 on a packet of Spanish Wavy, Queso crisps last night. Wanted a snack to munch on my train journey home. Eughhh.. Opened the packet, crisps smelt like old sweaty socks. Gingerly tried one. Truly disgusting, overpowering taste that nearly made me retch.. Hurriedly drank bottle of orange juice & sucked on lemon sweets, all the way home. How could Walkers have inflicted these horrors on innocent crisp-lovers?

They used to be very tasty especially the ready slated..but know just taste bland.. Mccoys now the best crips
