Walter Dawson & Son Avis 

I have been dealing with Walter Dawson & Sons (WDS Accountants Ltd) for more than 30 years and had complete satisfaction for the whole time of our relationship. With their help and support I have been able to move a business from a one-man band with no money to a turnover of £1.5m totally self-funding without any bank having a grip on me; I recommend this approach to everyone; don't spend what you haven't got.

I can honestly say, after dealing with Walter Dawsons for the past 40 years that the service received is second to none, anything I have asked for has been delt with in a speedy friendly manner.

Really poor. They just give the impression they don't care. Time to switch accountants.

I find this accountant substandard in terms of it proactive assistance where I could have purchased a pick up as opposed to paying corporation tax. Despite two emails complaining to the directors in the last 3 weeks, I have had no response. Shows how much they value small business.
Since they took over from Peel Walker the level of service has dropped….
If it wasn’t for their tax advisor making up the difference, I would have left this accountant by now.
To the directors….. your lack of any courtesy is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

After moving from my previous accountants I cannot praise and recommend WDS enough. I was fortunate to be looked after by Samantha Edwards but it was also clear there is a strong bond of team working and commitment to adding value to Clients needs.

I've worked with Jonathan Brown from WDS for nearly 15 years, albeit our firm have used them for decades. First and foremost, Jonathan is extremely hard working and knowledgeable.

He understands our business and gives advice as and when we need it on top of our more mundane requirements for yearly accounts / tax submissions.

I also deal with their wages dept., who are diligent and always on hand when queries arise.

Would not hesitate to recommend Jonathan / WDS to anyone requiring any kind of accountancy advice.

The whole team at Walter Dawson and Son (I deal with the Huddersfield Office and the wages dept) are just amazing, absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them, always at the end of the phone, always call back and always do everything they say they are going to do.
