Took my money and cancelled my appointment
I paid a £25 deposit for a consultation. My appointment was cancelled on the DAY OF the appointment and I got a VERY LATE notice about that. And I had actually taken time off work to attend that appointment so I just had to sit at home.I ended up rebooking the appointment for a later date and I called up BEFORE the appointment, saying that I wasn’t able to attend due to personal reasons. I asked if i could rebook for another date and the lady on the phone said to me that she will call me back because the dentist “might not want to see me again”. Which I find so unfair because my initial appointment that I PAID FOR was cancelled by them on the day it was supposed to take place. Not only did she put my appointment as ‘failed to attend’ instead of cancelled, she never called me back and they never refunded me my money. When they cancelled my first appointment, I was understanding and instead of asking for a refund due to awful service, I asked rebook. But when I had to cancel due to personal reasons, they were rude and never gave me back my money. They lost out on money anyway because I was genuinely gonna go forward with the very expensive treatment I wanted. I don’t really care about the £25 deposit but it’s just immoral to have an awful and rude attitude to me over the phone, and never calling me back or refunding my money.
