What a wonderful company. Karl goes above and beyond to keep in touch, answer any query, is professional, courteous and did a fabulous job with the cleaning and re-waxing of a Barbour jacket. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Abysmal service. They have ruined my jacket. In a worse state than when is sent it to them. Covered in debris, fluff and lint which cannot be removed

Very courteous and helpful communication. I sent two jackets which were really worn out and tatty. I would never find these jackets to purchase now, so repair and rewax was their only hope.

Barbour jacket came back some months ago, in a much worst state. I wish we had read these reviews first. Very disappointing and misleading. Interesting that trading standards were involved in the past.

Had inner sleeve replacements on two Barbour jackets. Finally, no more wet arms! Couldn’t fault the service. Communication excellent throughout. Don’t hesitate - get those jackets back to being functional!

Brilliant family ran company. My welligogs jacket smelt musty. It came back not only looking new but the smell had gone. I would definitely recommend to people.

Sent my Belstaff jacket to Karl a month ago and it’s returned today, with the three minor tears repaired, cleaned a s re-waxed. It’s like a new jacket and chuffed to bits it’s now got a new lease of life. I’ll be sending it back every couple of years for some TLC. Thanks Karl 👏🏼👏🏼

This is the second time I've used this company, having previously sent my well-worn Barbour coats directly to Barbour for full repairs and rewaxing. This time, I chose this company again because they offer excellent service at a fair price. They use their initiative and skill to preserve the unique character of each coat while restoring it, which I really appreciate. Great value and attention to detail.

I was hesitant about getting the over-long sleeves shortened on my Belstaff jacket in case it ruined it but this company have done a great job. I’m so pleased as the jacket has sentimental value and now it fits too! Jo Warner

My well worn and much loved Driza-Bone jacket had some damage to the sleeves and lining and had been left at the back of the office coat stand for maybe 15 years since the last outing. Karl and the team at the The Wax Jacket Cleaning Company have undertaken the repairs, cleaning and reproofing works, all for a reasonable cost and the communication throughout has been both quick and friendly. Great to have my jacket back in time for autumn, looking forward to wearing it again. Highly recommended service, from someone who doesn't really do reviews - it would have been rude not to this time.

Worked a miracle with 3 barbours, sent covered in mould, which have been returned in a wonderful reborn condition. Cannot rate them high enough plus kept us well informed along the way of their progress.

Super pleased with our jackets that we have just had cleaned by this company .

How does this guy get away with offering such a terrible service. Please don't be misled by all the 5 star reviews since you will be very disappointed if you use this organisation.

Sent my 25 year old drover's coat for cleaning, repair and relaxing. Came back 6 weeks later duly refurbished, all for about half the price of a new one, assuming it's possible to get another one of this weight of oil cloth.
A job well done. Thank you Karl and the team.
