Wax Jacket Cleaning Avis 

our Barbour Solway Zipper Jacket is 58 years old, I sent it to Barbour for complete refurb clean, repair, everything needed doing, not been worn for about 40 years, they quoted me £288.00, Barbour returned it saying it was to old and in bad condition to repair. Found wax jackets uk on line and they have completely refurbished it, it is amazing, they were really good communicating what needed doing, it arrived back home yesterday and we are amazed with it, the work they have done is fantastic, cant give them enough praise , my Son has worn it already and loves it, it was his Dad's jacket . would highly reccommend this company and cant thank them enough and their price was much cheaper than what Barbour wanted to charge. well done to all.

My jacket was cleaned, repaired and rewaxed and now looks like new. I found the wax Jacket Cleaning company online and crossed my fingers as I sent them my money and favourite coat. They did a fantastic job doing some quite fiddly repairs and is so good it’s promoted back from dog walk coat back to out-out coat😊 Thanks to Karl and the team

Great care taken to remake the cuffs with Liberty print and discreetly to patch torn parts. Now my 15 year old Barbour looks as good as new!

Sent my 30 plus year old barbour Solway Zipper jacket in for a clean, re-wax and repair to a small hole in the sleeve. The result was very impressive. The jacket was returned neatly packed and folded with a great finish. The damage to the sleeve was cleverly repaired to make it watertight and imperceptible.

Excellent service from this family company. Emails replied to immediately and my Belstaff jacket was returned exactly on time.
The jacket is almost fifty years old and has had a lot of wear. My wife was actually threatening to bin it as it had become too smelly for the charity shop (wives don't understand these sorts of things!).
It does actually look "as new" now and I would recommend Karl and his team to anyone.

Dealing with WJC was seamless and communication was good, especially when the Post Office attempted a couple of deliveries and omitted to leave a card and between us we had to find out where it was. Helen extremely helpful throughout and the PO have issued an apology.

Drizabone sent for cleaning and rewaxing. Quick turnaround and coat smells a lot better.

My jacket was not particularly grubby but needed a lining wash and re wax.
Returned back to me in a near new condition.
I had an issue with the zip not working smoothly and this was rectified as well.

My waxed but shabby jacket had seen better days! I contacted the Wax Jacket Cleaning Company for information on what to do. The process of sending off my jacket a straightforward path. I was updated and advised in a friendly and professional way. I’m now in possession of my rejuvenated jacket. I’m so pleased. Thank you team 👍🏼

Great service was delighted with the alterations carried out.

Like many others, I submitted my inquiry and received an invoice back. I sent my drizabone coat and made the payment. It has been over four weeks. Emails are not responded to, and on the rare occasion they are, lies are told - item is in the post, will send tracking details etc, and then nothing. I fear that I have lost my coat, and am in the process of submitting a claim in the small claims court. Any further advice from anyone who has chased this person down would be gratefully received.
Karl Ward is obviously not someone to be trusted.

My wife decided that her Barbour Liberty jacket needed and deserved some professional attention & treatment to try and restore some, if not all, of its former glamour & looks. We scoured the web and decided to have the restoration completed by The Wax Jacket Cleaning Company down in Devon.
After their cleaning and relaxing programme the jacket was returned within 1 week. The result is fabulous to what appears to be a completely new coat. Will use this company again when my jacket is due similar honours.

I was going to buy a New Barbour Jacket but my funds
weren't all that. I did have a jacket that was very sorry
looking Wax gone, didn't look nice so I thought I would go on google to try and find a company that rewaxed and repaired old Jackets. I did find a company which is based in Devon. sent it off and received it back today. What can I say, fantastic job

We sent in a jacket which had a large rip on the back. It came back repaired beatifully - in fact I couldn't detect where the rip had been even using a magnifying glass!
Furthermore it was rewaxed and so ready for immediate use. Will certainly use them again if another fault occurrs
