Delivery men on time very full.

Awful bought a fully assembled 4 door wardrobe via very. Selected a delivery date for Wednesday 29th, after recieveing, several confusing messages and it was delivered without warning on the 27th. It is not fully assembled as stated by very it was packaged as two single wardrobes. These were deliverd to the room the wrong way round LH on RH etc. After unpacking we find both are damaged on the mirror door in the same place and the rear top wood is poorly fitted in one. Additionally there are no fixings or guidance on how to join the wardrobes together. This is a dreadful service and the wardrobes not of high quality, I will be returning them which I am sure will not be a quick or simple process based on delivery

Being kept updated about delivery with a phone call from delivery driver, and again on the day of delivery given a time slot. Drivers were friendly and placed furniture in your chosen room, this included upstairs bedrooms. And a text on morning of delivery to say they would be here in 10 minutes I will be buying from this company again the whole experience from ordering online to delivery was hassle free this was the 2nd time and both were the same, and the personal phone call the day before delivery was appreciated

Excellent service kept up to date on delivery times and when arrived two lovely gentlemen brought it and put it where I asked only one gripe it wasn't unpacked so we had to remove all cardboard and arrange to get it taken away

This review is to warn others about the appalling manufacturing quality and non-existent quality control of Welcome Furniture (supplied through retailers like Newby Interiors and Robert Dyas).
This ridiculous and horrible saga started in March 2026 and took me five attempts just to get a bedroom furniture set delivered at an acceptable level. Every prior order arrived either severely damaged or defective:
Order 1 (via Newby Interiors): The dressing table was cracked, the mirror was dented, the chest drawers were unevenly spaced, and the bedside unit had a massive hole in the bottom. The retailer ultimately refused to order a replacement because I expect he knew the manufacturer's quality was too unreliable.
Order 2 (via Robert Dyas): I re-ordered because I liked the design. I was explicitly promised by customer service that the items would be quality checked by three people. Upon delivery, we checked the items while still on the van (to avoid traipsing through my home a second time) and immediately found cracks and black marks. Only one person had signed it off, completely breaking customer service's promise. The entire order was rejected.
Order 3 (Direct Escalation): I was assured management would personally watch my items go through production. Instead, it arrived with a large black "tar" mark across the dressing table, and the drawers on both chest units were completely misaligned.
Order 4: Delivered with the exact same manufacturing and structural issues.
Order 5 (Delivered 09/07/2026): Finally arrived in an acceptable quality.
Welcome Furniture is a very disjointed, poorly run company where communication is entirely lacking. The impact of this abysmal customer service meant I was forced to live out of cardboard boxes and washing baskets for four months (having disposed of my original furniture), while constantly having to rearrange my professional work schedule to accommodate failed deliveries.
Furthermore, several dodgy delivery drivers actually offered me cash-in-hand deals to keep the damaged furniture, knowing that returned items are simply thrown straight into skips. The drivers will openly admit their items often arrive damaged and re-ordering is the norm!
Be warned, there is a complete lack of management accountability. Following these events, I submitted a formal letter of complaint. While I was told the matter was escalated to senior management, my letter was completely ignored and I received no response. Unless you want to lose your sanity, I would avoid this manufacturer at all costs. I guess a company with a turnover of over £28 million a year simply doesn't care about your little order of the individual consumer. Spend your hard-earned money wisely with a company that actually values its customers.
I'll wait to get the same lame response to my online review from the same lady in customer service who's lived and breathed this whole sorry saga with me!

Kept me informed of the expected time of delivery. 2 men handled the item with care & delivered into the room I wanted.

Good quality furniture ready to use. Delivery was communicated by text at two different points in time and the second time was spot on.

We have recently moved into a 3 story house and have had so much trouble getting furniture delivered up to the top floor…
Not with this company!!!!! No problem whatsoever….Two really nice guys who manoeuvred a heavy wardrobe up two flights of stairs into a bedroom.
First class service with a smile too!!

Arrived at 7.00 am no warning email . Were in and out so quickly we are both in our 70s and it was left in our bottom landing no asking were it was going it was up 14 stairs to the room . We had to ask a friend to help to take it up for us . For the money spent we would have a least thought they would offer there were two of them . They were pleasant enough guys . Just maybe a little bit help would have gone a long way .. they missed out as well as we always give any delivery person a gratuity for there help as it’s always appreciated on how hard they work .

Great delivery company. Half hour Text before delivery. No problem putting the furniture in room of choice. Polite and respectful north wales lads

Drawers arrived safely and on time . Drivers unpacked the item and removed all the cardboard. I have to say this is the second time I’ve had a delivery from this company and the drivers always deliver with a smile. I may order again in order to have further jolly banter with those gentleman thank you.

Placed an order with Bensons for Beds for a triple wardrobe with a full length mirror and set of bedside drawers and the order was to be fulfilled by welcome furniture. When the delivery came the single unit for the wardrobe was completely smashed to bits, the double section of the wardrobe was slightly different to what was ordered and there was no mirror on the door. I contacted Welcome Furniture who were fantastic and arranged for the damaged unit to be replaced and to send out a replacement door with a mirror. The replacement unit arrived a couple of weeks later, the unit that arrived was again slightly different to what I had ordered but acceptable but the replacement door was the incorrect door.
The very nice and polite delivery drivers took all the details and arranged that the correct door would be ordered and delivered soon.

I have had now had 6 attempted deliveries of the same door that has been wrong every time they come to fit it. I have had to arrange to be home from work for deliveries 6 times for them to turn up every single time with the wrong door. Customer service have been great and the delivery drivers are lovely but I have no idea how a company can continue to send the same door hundreds of miles over a 2 month period without doing a basic check.
Asked them not to bother trying a seventh time and will just go and buy a mirror at my own expense as its cheaper than taking time off work again!

This delivery company delivers furniture from TJ Hughes,two of the delivery men who work for this company have caused me stress I don't need,they were very rude to me because my wardrobe wouldn't fit through my flat door saying I should have used a tape measure,I don't have a tape measure,their attitude towards me was disgusting,I told them I didn't know it wouldn't fit through my flat door and I ordered it two weeks ago,I cancelled it because it wouldn't fit through my flat door and they lied on the receipt saying I thought it would be flat packed,i knew it wouldn't be flat packed,they also lied saying I was going to attack,their attitude towards me was disgusting and they were very rude to me and I wasn't happy they tried to turn it around on me by telling lies about me on the receipt,they were later than they said they was going to be in their text message and they never told me they were going to be late,I thought that was a disgusting service,they should be sacked,I have a disability and I have health problems and I don't need the stress,in future if I order furniture I will be making sure they don't use this delivery company,they told me they had to drive all the way from Wales and they wasn't delivering to anyone else who lives in my area giving me a load of attitude saying I could be charged for something that doesn't fit in my flat door even though that's not my fault.

Delivery communication is brilliant keeps you updated has &when the product or products are going to be delivered tracking the vehicle was excellent the gentleman were professional and polite,and helpful.
