Whitby Distillery Avis 

We have been drinking Whitby gin for a few years and have tried them all, they are superb.
My son bought us a Distillery Tour as part of a Christmas present and we attended the tour yesterday.
We were greeted by very happy pleasant people.
Our tour guide was John who had the whole thing running smoothly to a very high standard.
Although I knew a bit about the distillery the information and background to the formation and running of the company along with its vision for the future is an amazing story. We were given a full explanation about the design of the bottle, that in itself was quite fascinating.
We had an introductory drink followed by a few sample tastings. We also got a free glass and a 10% discount on any purchases made in the shop.
If you haven’t been on the tour then you really should.
We have every intention of doing the tour again at a later date.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enveloped in the warm and inviting atmosphere of this fantastic distillery. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, bringing the fascinating history of Whitby and the art of gin-making to life with engaging stories and insightful details.

It was so interesting to learn about the botanicals they use, many of which are locally sourced, and how they contribute to the unique flavour profiles of their gins. The tasting session at the end was a real treat – the gin and the rum was distinct and delicious, showcasing the care and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle.

You can truly feel the dedication and pride that the team has for their craft. This tour is a must-do for any gin and or rum enthusiast, in fact to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience in Whitby. We left with a bottle (or two!) and a newfound appreciation for Whitby Gin. Five stars all the way!

I’ve always been a whiskey fan so when I watched Whitby by the sea I thought I’d give their rums a go and I was surprised just how good it was the dark spiced rum is excellent and so is the marauder cherry rum the service and delivery is outstanding cannot fault this distillery in any way will definitely be trying some of their other products

Great little place next to Whitby Abbey , the guy behind the bar gave me samples of the best beer I’ve ever tasted , sat in the garden and enjoyed the view of the Abbie free 😛beer was great 😊

Fabulous rhubarb gin and gorgeous glasses- thanks for super quick delivery
