Wow what Amazing customer service I received tonight from Simon and the lady on shift with him. They were both absolutely fantastic and so so helpful. I struggled with the trolley being disabled and they both helped me with that and Simon helped me find everything I was looking for. They were both very polite and I didn't feel judged at all. Thank you guys so so much.

Support from the Wickes branch at Dewsbury is greatly appreciated in assisting Connect Housing's Domestic Violence Service in Kirklees. Their donations help our ladies to upcycle and have decorating equipment ready for move in, this in turn builds their confidence. Special mention to Shelby Lister who is helpful and approachable

I went to Wickes for some paint as we are decorating our bedrooms. I was served by Tasha who was brillaint in recommending a wallpaper shop stephensons in Hunslet. I was struggling to find any nice wallpaper and my next option was having to order online, which I didnt want to do, incase I didnt like it when the paper came and have the hassle of sending it back. I went back in with a sample of the wallpapers I had picked and again Tasha recommended colours of paint to go with the wallpaper. Tasha was great, excellent recommendation and a great help!!

Having moved house 12 months ago we have used Wickes store in Dewsbury quite alot,the staff in this store have bent over backwards to sort any problems we have had.Its nice to be treated well thank you Ammaarah and Jamie.Unfortunately two weeks later we received a £60 parking ticket for being on site for too long .HAPPY ENDING, Jamie took it upon himself to sort out the fine and got us a refund thanks again Jamie

Just had to write a review after my recent visit to the Dewsbury store. I was requiring a sealant that could be applied to wet surfaces also under water and really did not have a clue. Ammaarah to the rescue. The young lady was full of knowledge and pointed me in a couple of directions. Problem solved she was excellent a big thankyou.

The most loveliest kind speaking intelligent happy smiley person I've met my reccent visit to wicks was one to remember
Went to get some fire wood which you'll know is very heavy lovely young man Simon helped me alot such a kind person he was from the way he spoke to finding out the prices to helping me at the end 100% customer service from him

We went into Dewsbury store to return some paint that was the wrong colour.

When we opened it it was much darker than the sample on the front of the tin.

No problems at all returning the paint, unlike Argos where we bought some & they refused to accept the return & refund it as they said it was of no use after it had been opened. I argued that the colour was nothing like the sample on the tin but they still refused. I definitely won’t be buying paint from Argos again.

We were served in Wickes by Fern, Jamie & Ammaarah & they all went over & above to help us find the right colour paint we needed trying different samples.

I’ll stick with Wickes in future.
