I would like to thank BRIAN of the South Shields store of wickes he was very helpful could see I was stressed on trying to find a matching piece of flooring give me loads of advice helped me to my car with my purchase smiling and friendly even said have a nice day and hope I have helped to solve my problem which he has BRIAN went above and beyond to help me solve my problem he is such a credit to the store I think he deserves recognition for his help it was about 1.55 pm on 19/04/2025

Brian is so helpful at South Shields store goes above and beyond to help me get the right products nice to have staff that no about their products

What made my experience good is Brian. He is always very helpful and has a smile on his face. Everytime I go to wickes I hope he is there as he is very approachable and helpful

I cannot believe the excellent, exceptional help and advice I received from Brian at the South Shields branch of Wickes yesterday - it was outstanding. Brian could not have been more helpful, professional or pleasant. I was almost in shock as today's customer service is virtually nil in most places, as we all know! Cannot recommend South Shields branch too highly - all the staff are so pleasant and helpful.

Sam was very helpful in taking us through the design process and explaining the different options available. He had a great knowledge of the range of products to help us with the design.

Fantastic support from the staff, as a local Primary School we were given some community support and able to collect £100 worth of items from the shop. This will make a big different to the development of our Forest School site and the pupils who access it.

Excellent and helpful staff, a store with a genuine community spirit. Thank you for your recent donation of materials, a most appreciated gesture that will make a great difference to the work of our museum's volunteers. Brilliant!

Had no interaction from staff until the checkout. There was 1 man on the checkout but no queue. We were next to be served. My only issue was the man serving was chewing gum and I think that is highly unprofessional for a customer facing role.

The staff in South Shields store are very helpful and friendly. A colleague called Glen was very patient with me and give me very good advice on door handles which I did not have a clue about. The staff on checkouts were friendly and chatty also helped me to my car with heavy items.could not fault them.

Bought an outdoor storage unit and lock for it, and Dawn was very helpful.really nice employee.

Was looking for a door part but everyone was busy so I just picked part up(wrong one) went to till where carol served me and asked if I had got what I needed. Turns out I hadn’t and she went back and got exact part I needed. Thank you carol

We had ordered a large quantity of doors online. However, 1 door was unavailable at the time of ordering. It later came available and we went to customer service in South Shields and spoke to a very nice lady, Dawn and she spent a long time making sure that that door was delivered on the same day as the others. That was extremely helpful and we were able to finish the project on time. Thank you Dawn
