Wickes - Waterlooville Avis 

Jess listened to what I wanted to achieve for my kitchen extension, we sat through planning every detail, made some changes and the design is amazing. Would recommend Jess to design your kitchen.

Jessica Owens designed a kitchen for us. She was very knowledgeable about the products and helped us see the potential. We felt that the design exceeded our dreams. Jessica was very friendly and we felt that she took time to get to know us and what we needed/ wanted. Her design skills her customer service skills are exceptional. Thanks Jessica.

We ordered a home office from the Waterlooville branch. Saw a lady called Jess. She was very friendly and excellent service when ordering the items. One key point was that no one from the design team ever visited the property, saw the space or measured up. Instead Jess relied on measurements from a competitor.

First problem was that delivery for the materials was set for 3 days after the actual start date for the installation. We queried this with the customer services via email but got no response. So we had to change booked leave at short notice to accommodate.

We had an excellent fitter called Dean. Very hard working and has done a good job. Second problem was Dean straight away said that there was far too many materials sent. He could see that straight away. We queried this with Jess who told us that we signed off the design and so any unused materials left that were part of the original design that we need to keep. We have challenged this as we are not design SME’s and the design team never even came and measured up. But two weeks post finish of the installation and we have no response on this. I am not sure why Wickes expects customers to know precisely what materials they need - any do we pay them as expects to design this for us??

The third problem is that we asked for a specific design so we have room for our existing 37 inch TV to fit in the gap. The gap on the measurements that Wickes should have copied was 1050mm but Wickes design team chose a 900mm gap which is too small for our TV. So we are now out of pocket and need to order a new tv.

Fourth problem is that two of the doors were the wrong size and two we were told replacements had been ordered but two weeks later we are still waiting for them.

Fifth problem. We queried all of this with Jess and we have still not had a follow up or full response. Which is quite disappointing.

Overall we would definitely not recommend Wickes. Fitter was great. Quality of the product is good. Service is very disappointing indeed. Once they have your money there is no interest or urgency on anything. And we will continue to wait and chase until it is fixed and we are reimbursed for product we did not need.

One of my favourite Wickes stores. Service is always friendly and attentative. Was struggling to find what I needed, asked a member of staff who stopped what they were doing and showed us to the item, with friendly non sales chat. Definitely recommend 👌

I have only positive things to say here. After making contact with Jessica in store we arranged a design session both at our home and in store. She interpreted our thoughts and budget into a great design in two sessions, sent us a 3D render to view and a broken down pricing schedule for full clarity. We placed the order and had delivery dates confirmed. The kit turned up as scheduled and the delivery team called us an hour before to confirm time of arrival, they unloaded the kit and were both polite and careful of our property. I fitted the kitchen myself and had fantastic support from Jen when I needed clarification, a replacement part for one I damaged and opinions on tiles and various other elements. The kitchen is complete, on budget and looks great and I offer my sincere thanks to Jen, her manager and the delivery team for a thoroughly professional project.

When it comes to kitchen design I cannot recommend Rhys enough, the whole process was smooth throughout. Needed to order couple extra bits which Rhys sorted out quickly. Great attention to detail, pointed out things we didn’t think of. Would highly recommend.

The design was great and nothing was to much trouble we changed the design a couple of time and i have to say that our designer was really helpful even when we wanted a different door style after choosing our first option it was not a problem i recommended Wickes to a friend of mine and i know he bought a kitchen from them and is happy too

Moved into an old house 3 years ago and finally decided to get a new kitchen. Sister-in-law recommended Wickes in Waterlooville. Had Rhys round one evening to measure up and discuss options followed by a 3 hour in-store meeting to finalise details. Great service throughout. Rhys knows his stuff and was able to recommend colour schemes as well as give recommendations on materials to suit our budget. Would really recommend.

Bought a Wickes kitchen 2022, been fighting ever since to get faults resolved, unit door not shutting due to unit side detached from something, now been informed they are washing their hands of it and will not assist anymore, this despite guarantee. Wish we had never bought from them.

We have just completed our kitchen installation through Wickes Waterlooville - Kitchen designed by Jess.
The whole design process we found great, Jess completed our home survey and had great design ideas for us. We have 2 in stores, (more were available but we completed what we needed to in 2). Jess is extremely knowledgeable of designing kitchens and Wickes products. We were talked though all the products, our options and our design.
We had our installation through Wickes, our fitter was fab. Our kitchen has now been fitted and we are so pleased with the fitting, the whole fitting process has been straight forward even with quite a lot of extra works needed. Jess’s design was spot on. We can’t thank Jess enough for helping us with the process of buying / choosing a new kitchen. We well definitely recommend Wickes Waterlooville and Jess. Thank you ☺️

I ordered my kitchen today. I was helped from the very beginning of the planning process by Jessica. Without any hard sell, she patiently and skilfully guided us through the hundreds of decisions and choices. Can’t recommend her enough!!
