Wickes - Weston Super Mare Avis 

Selina was wonderful, made us feel very welcome, and nothing was to much trouble, very happy with the service we had from her.

Received professional, honest support in the design and installation of a home bathroom. Design ideas were well considered, with budget kept in mind. Installation was seamless.

Went into wickes on New Year’s Eve with some wood we had purchased a few months before the wood was still fully packaged and with wickes labelling on it. The wood was surplus to requirements however we didn’t have the receipt we asked if we could get in store credit as we needed some paint etc. the cashier couldn’t have been more unhelpful if he tried. We left feeling like we had stolen the wood and ended up giving it to one of their customers who was shocked that the store were not interested. We need a lot more materials in the future and will not be returning. Zero customer care and zero customer loyalty.

I needed support to complete a Kitchen Project from Wickes as had not ordered all the parts required.
I went into the Kitchen/Bathroom Dept in Weston SuperMare and dealt with Emily Blasdale and Selina Price.
Emily worked out the Product required,traced them ordered them and then worked with their customer service dept to make sure I had the best deal available.
Emily and Selina then chased down delivery and ensured all the paperwork was correct.I felt at all times they wanted to help with ideas and other products which they said were available and always made time too talk and give good advice.
I was picking up some Handles which Emily had spoken to me about and went to the till to pay.
They were very busy and the Lady was dealing wih a customer query.Selina walked passed noticed the customers waiting and went too help her by serving some customers on the till.
Selina didnt need to help as appreciate that is not her job but saw a colleague struggling and stepped into which I thought was great teamwork.

We purchased a bathroom in Wickes, Weston-Super-Mare, and paid for installation.
Initially, the process felt easy and seamless. However, 3 months after our installation started, we are left with a leaking basin (which had cold water coming out the hot tap, hot out the cold), a shower which cannot be used as it is leaking underneath the shower tray (we have had to destroy the skirting panel to expose this), and a radiator which leaks from the bottom valve and from a welded section at the top due to a faulty product. We have also had to destroy the plaster on the wall as the installer did not check the wires were live going to the electric mirror, and need to get the floor retiled around the radiator due to incredibly poor tiling.
The customer service has been abysmal - we are still waiting to hear from the customer relations team over one week on from our last email (although much longer since our initial concerns). We have sought legal help as we have lost all hope in Wickes actually attempting to resolve this.

This should have been a nice experience and we should have been able to feel excited about our new bathroom. Instead we feel defeated and are scared to use anything for fear of leaking.

I would absolutely avoid using this company for any bathroom or kitchen installation.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service from Wickes. I waited all day for a delivery within the allocated time slot of 7am to 7pm, only to have it missed without any explanation or update. To make matters worse, the only resolution offered was to reschedule for another time slot between 12pm and 7pm the following day, forcing me to rearrange my plans yet again.

This level of service is unacceptable. Missing a 12-hour time slot and failing to provide compensation or a meaningful resolution shows a lack of respect for customers’ time. I expected much better from Wickes, and this experience has made me seriously reconsider using them in the future.
