Personally love their curl enhancer, I just think people don’t know how best to use it. Always gives me the best curls that stay put and smells amazing. I’m tempted to try their shampoo now.. yes it’s sticky, more sticky than I was expecting but you don’t need a lot to get results and it washes off easily with warm water and soap. I personally use it when hair is wet, rake it through then scrunch, diffuse then ‘scrunch out the crunch’ then voila, hair is done and my curls are soft and bouncy. You’re supposed to scrunch out any ‘crispiness’ and don’t use too much. It acts between a bit of a toss-up between a mousse and gel, rather than a cream. Hope this is useful to those considering…

I first discovered Windle London years ago because of their great hair cuts. I walked into their Covent Garden salon... cool women...looked bored 'We don't cut your kind of hair'. Walk of shame out the door again. Pretty standard casual racism, if you are a black woman with mixed textured hair. They may be different now who knows? So, blow me down, years later they now do a curl enhancer: clean ingredients, sustainable packaging and award winning in the curly or textured hair category. Their online branding doesn't feature black women though so wasn't sure if I was the target market. I desperately needed a leave in conditioner/ curl enhancer and wanted clean and sustainable so I had a go. Yes nice curls crunchy on day one, but curls still looked OK on day two and no crunch. After decades of hair salon related bad experiences and the 'frizz' rhetoric I'd prefer to use an inclusive brand though.

I have been having my hair cut by Mia for years now and we have experimented with many versions of a bob. Mia is an expert, skilled cutter and my bob haircuts always last a long time. I get so many compliments on my hair cut and wouldn't go anywhere else. Mia is a hairdresser you can really talk to and who listens. All the staff at Windle are great from those at reception to those washing hair . I do miss Marion though who was the most wonderful receptionist always with a friendly smile and so very helpful. I highly recommend this hair salon.

I booked an appointment with Paul after reading some of the reviews on here that mentioned his experience and skill with scissors. I'm so glad I did! I'm pretty picky; I wanted to "tidy up" my long hair and get something that would be polished but very easy to maintain (was getting fed up of just wearing my hair in a ponytail every day!)

Paul listened to what I wanted, and knew exactly how to translate that into a polished and professional cut. And, even more impressive, the cut is so good that it automatically "falls" into place even if I let it dry naturally.

The whole team at Windle are lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed and Paul’s experience and sheer joy for hairdressing shine through every interaction. I’m delighted to have discovered Windle, am very happy with my haircut, and I will definitely be returning to see Paul again.

The team at Windle London are engaging and polite, and the salon has a lovely feel to it. I am older and have long hair which I like but which needed updating. Paul listened and then set about cutting with absolute confidence and professionalism. The result was the best haircut I've had in years and was a masterclass in scissor work and the hairdresser/client relationship. My confidence was boosted and I looked and felt years younger. There’s no better salon in London. Paul Windle and his team are super skilled and professional. If I can help it, I don’t let anyone but Paul cut my hair, which can prove difficult when you live in France. Good old Ryanair! Paul is a genius with a pair of scissors, leading a team of other fantastic stylists and colourists. And thank goodness for the lovely Windle Lab vegan products - nourishing shampoo, conditioner and hair masque for me. Fortifying shampoo and thickening cream for my husband. And now friends across the Channel are putting in orders because the products are that good. I just have a heavier suitcase!!

Had the most brilliant haircut done with Paul! The salon has an amazing ambience and all the staff were super friendly ! I went for a really short haircut and Paul knew exactly what he was doing ! We all had a lovely chat! Thank you! Will be back :)

I'm on my third tube of invisible day & night cream. I have thick, course-ish hair with natural curl and it's one of the few products I've found that can smooth it out and weigh it down a bit whilst delivering moisture. It's great to use on styled hair and gives it a salon finished look. I would not be without it.

I’ve tried most curly hair products and this is now the only curl cream I use. You literally only need a small amount, I use 1cm for my hair, apply to wet hair scrunch and diffuse dry. The thickening cream I tried after reading reviews and it’s become another favourite. I apply a small amount before the curl cream to my roots, also great for refreshing 2nd & 3rd day curls and smells lovely. Great website and bundles for different hair types, not just ➿. Have been using for several months now and not strayed.

I stumbled across Windle and read the reviews for the ‘Curl Enhancer’ and ordered. Well … what can I say it’s amazing! My curls are amazing, not crunchy but soft and defined. I am only washing my hair once a week & with a small spritz of water after a couple of days it looks great. One product instead of 2 or 3 and so easy. I have had lots of compliments & I take it to my hairdresser who is super impressed. I left it with my friends in Greece who loved it … so ordered more! I’m 55 & whilst I love my curly hair it could be a chore! Not with this just wish I’d found it years ago. Order you won’t look back. Thank you Windle London ❤️

Windle products are amazing. I tried the curl enhancer first and my hair has never looked better soft loose curls no crunch or frizz and hair in great condition. I’ve since got more products and every one of them are fantastic. Staff are great at advising what to use for your hair too. I have tried so many brands and nothing has worked like Windlelab. Definitely recommend.

Curl Enhancer
I purchased direct from WindleLab. I have used it in varying amounts before my review. Well, it's just awful. The Curl Enhancer left my hair rather crispy, I thought my curls were going to snap off
I combed my hair through as best as I could hoping my curls would become soft and glossy, well, no, this didn't happen, my hair just went into a fluffy/frizzy combo. I am so very tired of companies promising you separated shiny curls if you use their product. All false promises I'm afraid. No more chances left.

Windle Curl Enhancer has left my curly hair dry and crispy, also its quite thick, and hard to remove from your hands without washing. The only good thing about it is the smell! I would not recommend this product.

Glad I didn’t read the reviews first. It’s true. The curl enhancer did go crispy but I then scrunched with a bit of heat and they went soft and bouncy. We then had gale force winds in the uk and I thought ‘here we go. Frizz bomb’ but no. The curls stayed intact. I’m a 57 year old former hairdresser and this is the first product I’ve had any luck with my curls.

So dissatisfied with this product. It has left my hair with thin dry crispy curls, everything it says it doesn’t do😡

I purchased the bundle including shampoo, conditioner and curl enhancer, the latter product left my hair hard and crunchy, I had to wash it out. I have left numerous comments on the face book page asking for advice, but each time the comments have been removed. I also emailed via the website asking for help, and not received a response to that either. Very poor customer service.

Fell for the social media hype as Windle hair care products kept popping up on my social media.
Purchased the 1litre bottles of their Fortifying Shampoo & Condition at great expense. Have been using for many months and can honestly say these products have done nothing for my hair. Hair doesn’t smell of anything either.
Poor shipping. Products arrived in a very tatty reused box with no indiction of where they came from or what was inside. To top it off the invoice was for another customer complete with all their details! I did report this to Windle but they weren’t concerned. I received the correct products but no free samples that were offered with purchase. Guess whoever got my package and invoice may have benefitted from them.
Save your money and purchase anything but this shampoo & conditioner. Alas I am in the hunt for something to make my fine hair fabulous.

Product ok but bottle is awful and cheap. Not a pump bottle like advertised online. So I feel conned as the products are hard to get out the cheap bottles if you opt for the 100ml especially the conditioner. I specifically checked the photos and complained when received and pointed out at no time did they state the smaller volume came in a bottle like it did. I emailed and was basically fobbed off and told tough, that’s how the 100ml comes. I could return it for a refund but at my expense. The shampoo and conditioner were pricey, but I assumed worth it. I feel conned and annoyed. Not good customer services either.

One word - Gorgeous!

I took a punt from an Instagram ad and am not disappointed. It’s a bit pricey compared to off the shelf shampoos but the transformation of my hair after 2 washes is incredible. Well worth the cost.
