Work It Daily has truly been the complete package for my job search needs. J.T. and the coaching staff put in the time and effort to stay well-informed and current on the employment and recruitment trends, and are generous with sharing that information. Equally important, Dani and the rest of support crew are not just incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful, but they put 100% into staying engaged with members, past and present. I've been a longtime member, and I still enjoy returning to the site to discover new information from both the huge library of resources available to subscribers, and from the Work It Daily community of fellow job-seekers and HR experts. The Work It Daily (WID) platform goes beyond resume writing and cover letter templates. It is an entire program that not only helps build a plan for conducting a job search but also develops the skills and knowledge to differentiate yourself in the marketplace.

The platform provides insights into communication styles (yours and others), differentiated strategies for identifying opportunities, guidance on how to make connections in order to build relationships with people and companies for the long-term, how to prepare and answer job interview questions, but most importantly, how to create and communicate your unique value proposition.

As many job searchers have found, the entire process can be overwhelming and intimidating. JT is an incredible advocate that offers amazing advice that members and/or general job seekers are struggling with. In fact, the entire WID is 100% focused on helping members through their career journeys and finding new opportunities.

IMO, the best part of the WID platform is the WID community. It is a group of people going through similar - but not exactly the same career journey - but everyone helps and supports each another every step of the way. No question is bad and everyone brings their own perspective and help during what is often a very challenging time.

This latest stage of my career journey was challenging but with the help and support of the WID platform it became an invaluable investment in my professional and personal branding.

I cannot comment on the quality of their services or content, as I secured a job on my own. However, I would advise caution when providing your credit card information. Despite their stated refund policy, I was charged during the trial period and was denied a refund even though I followed the cancellation process within the timeframe. Their customer service has been unhelpful, and I felt their practices were not transparent.

I value doing business with companies that are honest, upfront, and fair. Unfortunately, my experience with this program fell short, leaving me questioning their integrity.

Response: Dear Workit Daily,

I am writing to express my concern regarding the handling of my 7-day free trial subscription. When I signed up, I was under the clear understanding that no charges would be made unless I consented to continue after the trial period. However, it seems the policy was altered or misrepresented, leading to an unexpected charge.

It is misleading and unacceptable to promote a 7-day free trial and then change the terms after the fact, or redirect to hidden terms effectively charging individuals without informed consent. This behavior could be interpreted as a deceptive business practice, as it breaches the trust of customers and aligns more with predatory tactics.

To resolve this matter fairly, I kindly request:
1. A refund of the unauthorized charge.
2. Confirmation of the cancellation of any further subscriptions or obligations.

If this issue is not resolved promptly, I may need to escalate the matter further, as consumers have rights under Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act which prohibits “unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce.”
1. Misleading Representations or Omissions: Companies cannot advertise offers, such as free trials, in a way that misleads consumers about the terms, conditions, or associated charges.

I trust you will address this matter swiftly and in good faith.

After writing a review, JTs team found an "unsent" email response to my inquiry and sent it (there was about a week delay in receiving a response). Now that I've received it and they were a lot more responsive, I'm amending my review rating to a 4 star.

I think JT has a lot of good advice, however, I am looking for a resume writer and they don't offer that service (you use the resources and write your own resume which is where I struggle).

Work It Daily is the gold standard for job search training and career advice. They offer both self-directed training as well as direct feedback from *real people* who are well trained and great to work with. (I've personally received great advice from Dani, Christine, and the owner, J.T.)

In addition to the self-directed curriculum, they have live feedback Q&A sessions several times a week on different critical job search topics, and it's all included in the standard membership. I've been part of the community for some time, and I've also enjoyed the chance to trade ideas with different members and learn about new resources that would take forever to find just wandering the internet on my own.

If you're ready to sit down and do the work to become a well-rounded professional with an organized career plan, this is the place to be.

Right now, it is Jan 2025 and I will walk you through how and why I am enrolled at WID now.

I first came across Work It Daily prior to the pandemic. I had previously viewed many videos on their YouTube website. The YouTube website made sense to me. So, I then decided to dive in and join Work It Daily! I joined Work It Daily with high hopes. I slowly got involved with the private community and viewing the courses. The courses are broken down into mini videos with homework. I also choose the option of working with a career coach. I learned how to interview better, better resume and improve my LinkedIn profile. I gained the confidence and how to interview better and applying for jobs I truly deserved. There were many different courses on networking and how to find bucket list companies.

I then personalized my job search and narrowed it down. I connected on LinkedIn with a recruiter at a dream company. How to connect was taught in a Work It Daily course. Phone interviews began. Then finally an in-person interview came for several jobs after various phone interviews. At an interview I was also complimented on my cover letter or as Work It Daily calls it their disruptive cover letter. After a while, I received a job. The pre-pandemic job I received was an advancement!!!!

Here is a little more about Work It Daily. The Private community is wonderful too. It is a private community of other people looking for jobs where you can ask questions and also get support. But what is very interesting is that Work It Daily not only can help you find a job but also help you with the first 90 days and also answer other questions you might have. So much to learn to how to actively help to "onboard" yourself during the first 90 days of a new job.

I had to also find a job during and post pandemic after moving to another state. Work It Daily again changed with the times and had many sessions during the pandemic and also about Zoom. So, Work It Daily helped with another job in another state and with changes to the economy again. That was a short-term job post pandemic. Work It Daily had added new courses and changes during this time. The community even improved more with the changes that happened over time.

There are many new Events at Work It Daily in the last few years. More Events were added recently. These Events are special sessions for those to attend at set times for subjects that are challenging in these last few years. If you can't make the session, it is found in past recordings to view at your leisure within the community. The Events/weekly live sessions, which are also recorded, help with the new challenges of job search and also the changes in LinkedIn or job burnout.

The market keeps changing, LinkedIn keeps changing and ways to advance aka get promoted or be recognized in your current job keep changing. Work It Daily helps you stay on top of all of the changes. Work It Daily keeps and keeps improving and stays current for job search and LinkedIn. It teaches you to have presence and brand yourself on LinkedIn even when times are good for you. There is a whole new way to brand yourself on LinkedIn to be seen weekly, daily by those in your industry and recruiters. The only way to really see is to join these events in the community and it is different weekly with ideas and suggestions all the time.

You might just need Work It Daily to build connections and brand yourself on LinkedIn to find a new job or even for a job you are happy in. It is also a way to bridge a time when you might be not working due to various reasons but to learn to be current and noticed in your industry. This area of building is where I am now in Jan 2025.

You can also leave Work It Daily and then signup again when changes of any type happen, or you want changes even in your current job. Work It Daily can also be used for a short time just to ask questions or get encouragement from community even in your current job. Wonderful place to be a member!!!

Even thought I have only taken the free trial, I have benefited a great deal of the wealth of information, webinars, mindset reframing, and the templates. I learnt a lot!

I live in Europe and I just hoped that the content also covers the specifics of job market in Europe. I felt it is a bit US focused.

That being said, I’m definitely subscribing to the Work it Daily soon as I know these skills will come in handy even if I am currently employed.

All of the ladies at Work It Daily make it their mission to help every single person who enters their web doors. Through dedication, compassion, and a direct approach to job/career discovery for everyone they stop at nothing to provide top notch services. THIS IS A SCAM!! keeps charging and no way to cancel subscription

I recently joined WID and it has been life changing! I am currently on a career break and looking to reenter the workforce. The support, tools, and resources that JT and her team offer are exactly what I need to bring my best foot forward with my next career opportunity. I started with the burnout video and it made me realize I am not alone and that I can do this! Thank you so much JT, I can see that this is your passion and mission to help others and I couldn't be more grateful!

The job industry has changed ever since 2008 and applying to jobs is not only stressful, its dehumanizing. WID has taught me alot of vital information that isn't shared but should be common knowledge in schools and other training programs; I've been in several programs including state-funded but WID has tools that can help anyone from the service industry to the cooperate industry. They also have programs to asset certain issue in applying to a position and how to interact in a job interview.

Your portal is great. I really especially enjoyed the course on interviewing. Getting confirmation on things I was doing right as well as learning new tips has made me more confident in my search, more relaxed and given me a better peace of mind. I honestly sleep better the night before an important interview now. You've erased a lot of uncertainty and freed up real estate in my brain!

Be aware of sneaky way they charge your credit card!

I did some kind of quiz which forced me to start a 7day trail. Little did I know that my CC will be charged without any warning or email notification.

Customer service is ignoring my request saying they cannot do anything, while I know it's very simple to do a refund.

If your business really needs $25 from an unemployed individual, then you are screwed.

I will contact my bank to start a charge back procedure under a claim of fraud.

The other reviewer is completely correct! I signed up for my 3 day free trial after seeing a viral video of JT on linkedin. After signing up, you are not paired with a coach but talk to many in essentially a group chat. From there, they prompt you to send your resume / cover letter / linkedin link, and send you a video critiquing all of them. The video critique was essentially a 3 minute long ad telling me to take their "course" (included with subscription) that lays out step by step instructions, and then stick your resume in a specific template they used (which was NOT nice looking.) I cancelled my trial right after that as I'm looking for personalized feedback on my language, building a brand story etc, not just a new template.

Work It Daily (WID) is good for general job search advice. I found the exercises in the video courses to be helpful and encouraging. I particularly enjoyed writing down my specific goals and using that as a platform to pitch to companies or while networking. It was also cool to get a real person and not a robot reviewing your cover letter and resume. With that said, WID has a specific structure for their resumes and cover letters that you have to adhere to. Even if the content on your resume or cover letter is steller, they will suggest you change it to match their template. The drawback with this is that the only true advice they're giving you is that what you have must match what they have.

They suggest putting a "specialist" title at the top of your resume under your contact information. I initially thought that was different but I was open to making the change since I haven't been receiving much success in obtaining interviews. I can't say that technique works or doesn't, but I do know there's no one way to do a resume.

The resume template they provide you with has redundancies. For example, you list your education on the top of your resume and then again below.

The cover letter template they provide you with at first seems like a cool idea until you notice that even their example is filled with cliches. They don't check for content only that your cover letter be in the same exact format they suggest. I noticed I had some errors in my cover letter but they only advised me to change the structure to their template. I got the same advice during both times I sought feedback.

I would probably stick with the free trial of WID or do a month but I don't believe their resources alone will help you get your next job. Job search success always includes a myriad of factors coming together until that miraculous moment of a job offer finally happens. WID can be one factor but it is shouldn't be your one-stop-shop on your way to getting a job.
